Lukas Meunier is one of the founders behind the Berlin-based label "Kreatur" as well as him being the head booker of the same-rooted Suspekt Agency. His sound in his productions and DJ sets originates from rough Industrial Techno combined with driving Trance parts.

"There are many things that cannot be taken away from our Breton friends, and their love for free and unconditional partying is definitely one of them. This love, few people transmit it just as well as DICA behind his machines.

From the enthusiasm of his first raves around 10 years ago to his current live performances, it must be said that the artist from Rennes seems to have come a long way. Strongly influenced by the acid vibrations emerging from the other side of the Channel, it is through Acid UK and flagship labels of this movement that he finds the impulse for creating his own music, and quickly surrounding himself with an analogical arsenal.

Groovy rhythms, frenetic TB303 and other english alike and oldschool sounds that we find mingled a few years later in an overboosted and perfectly driven hard-techno live.

"Originally from Ukraine but raised in the Netherlands, Illiya Korniyenko’s rise through the European hard techno scene has been a relentless and fast paced affair, akin to his music. 

Heavily inspired by the quintessential sound which characterised hardtechno in the early to mid 2000s, Illiya’s productions present driving, mechanical and saturated grooves within the framework of modern industrial techno. The juxtaposition between the past and present are evident in his workflow, utilising classic hardware such as Roland’s 303 and Mackie mixers to carve his own unique sound, often recognisable by warm, analogue laced drums and chaotic acid leads. 

His DJ sets oppose nonsense, confidently conquering dance-floors by imploding industrial yet fundamentally percussive techno bangers. His track selection often includes his own productions in addition to self mastered revisions of older tracks, with the sounds of DJ Rush, Robert Natus and Primal often evident. An artist who’s signature sound is composed of intense yet carefully woven elements is achieved by his enormous attention to detail, evident in both his tracks and sets. 

This phenomenon has allowed him to make his mark in some of Europe’s major raves, where he has erupted energy upon Dutch parties such as Intercell, Basis and Courtoisy in addition to international slots at festivals such as Extrema Belgium. 

Illiya’s devotion to quality as well as his dedication to consistently leaving his mark on the hard techno scene is unique. Few artists embody such an ambitious lust for broadcasting their interpretation of high energy techno music whilst also respecting and innovating the craft which underpins production and DJing. "
