Being obsessed with computer technologies since childhood. I realized there is more to that realm than the hardware behind it. 

After attending my first series of underground raves, my brain couldn't help but link those weird soundscapes and paranormal tones to the electrical circuits I work on everyday - the order hiding behind chaos.

Rich grooves, dark basslines, and acid infused sounds are what tickles that special part of my brain.

Here I am on a journey to hunt down those sounds.

Con ‘I Wanna Jack’, Steve Thirry se adentra de lleno en el territorio más físico y directo del Chicago house, firmando uno de los cortes más funcionales y orientados a pista de Jackin’ Up The Juice, su nuevo álbum en FenixFire Records, previsto para el 13 de diciembre de 2025.

El track se construye sobre un groove clásico, con una base rítmica firme y un bajo elástico que empuja sin concesiones. La percusión, clara y repetitiva, marca un pulso constante mientras pequeños acentos y detalles vocales refuerzan ese espíritu jackin’ que conecta directamente con la tradición house más cruda y bailable. Psygressive it is! I decided, after a few years, to finally record a non-dark funky prog set with the usual suspects in this style, mostly influenced by down-under bushprog.
I've played this side at some festivals when needed to keep the flow of the music. Always fun the play the different shades of psychedelia. All in all, I'm very happy with the outcome, with some tasty mixes and crazy changes in rythms.
The set is recorded at 136 to 139 and, as usual, on Pioneers DJM350 and 2xCDJ850. Thanks to the artists for composing these tracks, great stuff! :D
