Brian Phelan, also know as ILLustrate, was born and spent a majority of his life in St. Louis, Missouri. Late in 2011, Brian moved to Seattle, Washington to recreate himself and pursue music as an Underground Hip-Hop artist. With the help of producer Evan Black (UnderRated) and manager Benjamin Peyronnin ("The Jedi") he has released his first 6 track Mixtape named Poetry In Motion.
Brian is no stranger to the Music Scene. He has spent much of his life learning the art of Guitar and Percussion, along with working for some time as an Electronic DJ specializing in DnB and Dubstep production. His Hip-Hop influences include artist like Grieves, Slug, and Brother Ali, all the way to the classics like Big L and The Wu-Tang Clan.
