This is a very special track for me, dedicated to my love Yasmin. I started this track in our house in Goa 2 seasons ago and finished it in our house in the USA, so its been on quite a journey from start to finish, and I am very happy with the result. Deep and mystical with a dose of shamanic flutes and chanting... I hope you all will enjoy it!!

Cosinus was born in Germany 1979 and currently living in Biel, Switzerland. Michael discovered the world of electronic music at the age of 13 and was inspired by artist like Yello, Kraftwerk and the sounds of Detroit techno and house music. His first steps in his DJ career started behind a pair of turntables at a local youth club in his hometown. After 20 years of rocking dancefloors with his energetic sets he put his focus now on his own musical creations that he plays in his livesets (and occasional DJ sets). Cosinus is signed to Sangoma Records and released tracks on labels such as Woodog Records, Macky Mad House Records, Subsystem Records,Forestdelic Records to name just a few. In 2015 he released his first EP “Mudulated Frequencies” and compiled Ironic Creatures and Ironic Cultures with DJ Izzy on Sangoma. So far he played in Germany, Austria, USA, Switzerland and the Netherlands. His sound can be described as epic pumping, jumping and snarling forest psytrance – a fusion between nighttime psychedelic and deep forest friendly atmospheres. His story fits perfectly to the early hours of the morning as well as the middle of the night – powerful music to tune on heads. An artist that shouldn’t be missed at any party.

For a couple of years two DJs have met periodically at parties, where both of them played their Dj-Sets: sG4rY and Merry:)

Both DJs are residents of Gaggalacka Festivals and label DJ´s for Purple Hexagon Records (Italy) and Sangoma Records (Germany/Quatar/South Africa). Their styles could be described as a mix of powerful Twilight, deep groovy Night Stuff and lysergical Forest Sound, depends what the dancefloors individually needs. But both like to play Chill Tunes too...

This set was recorded at the last Brotherys Gig in Berlin in March 2017 ... enjoy :)

Illustrator is the new solo project of Karim  from Casablanca (Morocco).

His interest in Psytrance grew out of the burgeoning scene in Morocco during parties in 2004. In 2007 he started DJing as DJ K-rimsy with his friend DJs in Casablanca. Meeting other likeminded musicians prompted Karim to start his own journey through producing his own music and that’s when the Illustrator project was born.

Psychedelic trance is specific to Karim, it has significant potential of wiping away borders between dance and ritual, between fun and the path in its broadest sense.

His music is not dark, it's not disco, it's psychedelic forest...
