The Crystal Method - Come Back Clean (iwtc mix)

A project that had been waiting in the wings for a while. I came back to revisit it and, honestly, found it very much to my liking as well as very much close to complete. A few tweaks here and there, and it was finished.

I've been in a bit of a musical rut for a while, so revisiting old tracks and letting them inspire me is pretty much mandatory.

My friend Ryan put down the bass guitar riffs, and I really like the postrock quality of them. I think everything goes together quite well. I'd like to spend some time mixing this and getting the levels right, but it's pretty good as it is, I think.

The Battle (Early)

This is the first piece I've finished, on a conceptual level, in years. The mix isn't perfect, I still have a lot of work to do, but this is for February Album Writing Month- the idea is to get something down into waveforms, and to come back later to revise it. So here it is.

Lame Genius

It doesn't happen often, but I heard this song on my sleep list and it kicked me right in the mouth. I knew I had to do something interesting and different with it, so I did. This remix was inspired by the idea of leaving Korea... it's not my home, but there are a lot of memories and things that I'll be leaving behind.

I'm actually pretty proud of this track. I feel like it's one of my better efforts.
