Questa sera

Il Maniscalco Maldestro is a music project which has already
published 4 albums and performed lot of concerts all around
Italy and Europe.
The common point that gets the band togheter is of course
rock, but there’s also much more; each album contains a well
detailed music care, influences go from jazz to swing, from
psychedelic to electronic, going through songwriters and pop
music as well; the lyrics, go from intimacy
and introspection, but they can also be seen as a “window”
on the surrounding world, thus giving an interpretation of current
times and our role in the society; and this can be performed
with bitterness as well as self-sarcasm.
The main point of this project is certainly the authenticity of its
unpredictable and kaleidoscopic music, which bangs, especially
during the concerts, with its energy and with a spontaneous
self-sarcasm easy to understand;
Despite of its rock nature, the project finds its own identity also in
acoustic version, where piano and voice are well put in evidence,
and theatres and intimate lounges become the perfect stages.
