JUST COMMIT: A self-confessed multi-tasker, Just Her has not only found the time and skills to study for a Masters Degree in Music, but also to establish her own brand ‘Constant Circles’ - a unique concept in which music & contemporary visual art are combined, with successful label parties across the UK & Europe and art exhibitions in Brighton and London. You could say Chymera is a veteran of the underground electronic music scene; after all, he has been producing and releasing since the early 00’s. Known for pushing a more melodic and introspective sound which always float on top of warm and inviting techno beats, it is no surprise that the Irishman have had productions featured on past Balance compilations (2008’s epic 3 disc effort from SOS, and Funk D’Void’s 2012 release), alongside other mix series’ like Global Underground and Renaissance. The producer have a knack for earworm melodies which have found him favour with some of the more discerning techno labels including Delsin, Ovum, Figure, Outpost, and even Papa Sven’s Cocoon Recordings. A regular on the European circuit, the Berlin-based producer has this year alone featured in clubs like Tresor and Watergate alongside festival appearances. We are very excited to finally release his Balance selections podcast: A 60 minute deep techno excursion which is hypnotic and full of depth...

Our Fifth Exclusive Series Mix takes us to Montreal, Canada and Anais Ley.  

Infused into music from an early age, Anaïs Ley started her Dj career back in 2011 in Montreal. From there, she just followed her heart and was determined to better herself in this art.  Always eager to discover fresh beats, her purpose is to push the boundaries by rising the energy of the room using an unique style, seeking harmony and passion to create the best sonic experience possible.

This mix certainly reflects that. It is an odessey of beautiful styles, heady twists and turns, mouthwatering transitions and in keeping with her audience in this instance, some top class prog.  Anais displays that coveted ability to make already well received tracks sound even better in her hands, but she also brings in plenty of twists turns and originality.  

She doesn't need to develop her own style, that's a given.  Totally original but also conforms to the gold standard of a a great prog DJ when called upon, please give a warm welcome to this fantastic artist and mix.  Anais Ley.

PFG are proud to release our third Mix Collection, the group's selection box of the years best tracks, picked by all of our members. In a year when our listening preferences and privileges have been changed forever, the music was thankfully forever constant, and not once did it leave us wanting for more. 

The quality of the music on display here demands we pick three of the best DJs we could lay our hands on. Fortunately we didn't have to look to far to find an array of worthy contenders. The final trio consist of Anäis Ley, an undiscovered angel we found through our Exclusive Series earlier in the year. her mix simply blew us away, and it seemed absolutely the perfect choice to get her to kick this off. Jimi Falconer is no stranger to the underground house scene, owner of Plethora Music, a source of the finest unreleased progressive music anywhere on the planet. And its these tracks which he spins for us on the Alchemy Live Streams for PFG, rapidly gaining a wider more refined audience. We end the mix with one of Progressive House's Icons. DJ,Producer,Remixer,Label Owner,Resident for some of the worlds finer clubbing brands, Chris Cargo has been there, done that and worn a t-shirt better than most. Showing no signs of stopping, PFG were truly honoured to have him mix a stunning podcast earlier in the year, and for Chris to take part in this mix is amongst the highlights of the year for us. 

So here it is, nearly 5 golden hours of tunes from 2020, a year we are never going to forget. Here's to a brighter 2021 where we can dance together again to the tunes we have here. Love from PFG.
