Hello Everyone! PFG is back in the air again with our weekly exclusive Progcast. Scouring the globe for those perfect progressive sounds, our search takes us from one of the worlds clubbing hotspots, all the way north in the blink of an eye to another world renowned city, Montreal! 

Here we've come across a properly talented DJ, who in a short space of time has made her mark and left it indelibly on those who have heard her play. She not only covers all the genres in a set, but masters the art of mixing them together as well.

We're sure you are gonna LOVE her, no soon as you've finished this top class mix. PFG make some noise for Julie Petrecca!! 

Julie Petrecca was born in 1981 in Montreal, Canada. Since childhood she was introduced to music, as she practically grew up in the recording studio owned by her father! He quickly transmitted his passion and his interest for the world of music to his daughter, and the rest is history.

Into her late teens, Julie discovered Electronica and her passion for music grew even more. In all the years since, she has kept the connection to electronic musical culture strong. In our particular universe, Julie's tastes developed in several categories of our underground music scene.  Deep House, Funky House, Jackin, Electronica, Organic House, Progressive House... can all be found in a Petrecca mix! 

Since February 2015, Julie has hosted her own weekly show ‘’The So What! Radioshow’’ presenting DJs and DJ/Producers from all around the world. And she’s also involved in her Family radio, ‘’Radio Webphré’’ a community web-based station  located around Quebec in Canada.

BIO:
Juan Jose Siufi (Poli Siufi), nació en San Salvador de Jujuy (Argentina), y sus comienzos en la escena electrónica se dieron en Córdoba y Capital Federal.
Sus prolijas mezclas se inspiran en su sensibilidad a la hora de armar sus sesiones creando así un mix perfecto de progresión. Su estilo de música melódica con influencia psicodélica y oriental logra crear historias musicales con finales explosivos a puro groove y Melodic Techno.
Durante el 2017 residió en Playa del Carmen (México), donde compartió cabina
en diferentes Roofs y clubs, como en fiestas con Djs internacionales distinguiendo su estilo de música melódica progresiva.
Continuó su viaje por Francia y Sudeste Asiático donde alterno fechas entre
fiestas y clubes de playa como, EL LOCO CLUB (Montuçon, Francia), Maya Beach Club (Koh Tao, Tailandia) y en Hotel Ombak Sunset (Gili T, Indonesia).
En 2018 fundó en Jujuy NIRVANA PRODUCCIONES, y tuvo la posibilidad de compartir cabina con los mejores artistas de la escena nacional como Soundexile, ANTRIM, Sebastian Busto, Brigado Crew, Federico Monachesi, Ezequiel Arias, Paul Deep, Lucas Rossi y Fabri Lopez por nombrar algunos.
Hoy se posicionó en la producción musical y su música fue editada por grandes sellos como The Soundgarden, Balkan Connections, AH Digital, One Of a Kind, 3rd AVENUE, NUBE RECORDS y Droid9 SA, y support de artistas como Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Cream (PL), Fernando Ferreyra, Mariano Mellino, Soundexile, Antrim y Lucas Rossi entre otros. 
Sin dudas 2021 y 2022 son los mejores años de su carrera profesional donde tuvo la posibilidad de participar del ciclo The Soundgarden con Nick Warren y La Biblioteca con Alex O’Rion

This UK based upcoming talent caught our eye a few months back with one of his sessions. We quickly felt that he was someone our podcast was missing out on, so it was only a matter of time that we invited him as our next guest.

Essco believes the quality music should utilise the key driving forces of several electronic genres. “I try to incorporate the euphoria of trance, the groove of house and the mood of techno”. 

He has released on various respected labels including Fragrant and JOOF and gained support from world famous DJ’s. Essco’s sound has been described as something that is filled with personality and emotion but also hits hard on the dance-floor.

Leah Marie (Late Night Music) is an upcoming DJ from Melbourne, Australia, with an ever-growing passion for progressive house. Leah grew up playing classical piano and developed a taste for electronic music as a teenager. She had been on the other side of the dancefloor for many years and finally decided to jump behind the decks in 2019. She had her first gig at the beginning of 2021 and hasn’t looked back since. Since then Leah regularly plays at some of Melbourne’s most iconic venues such as Killing Time, Glamorama, 24 Moons, Pawn & Co, Onesixone, My Aeon, Circus and Revolver Upstairs. She frequently showcases her love of progressive and melodic music for events labels - Mama Said, Capture Experience and Intimate.
 
 Leah recently had the pleasure of warming up for Emanuel Satie and playing the opening set for the Morning After Agency’s - Enchanted Garden Afterparty headlining Guy J, as well as playing at their Interstellar Groove Festival. Leah was recently announced as a label DJ for Australian progressive house label "Late Night Music." and has also released podcasts with notable podcasts series including Wildwood Podcast Series and Prog Fun Goodness amongst others.  
 
Leah’s taste in music is largely inspired from her experiences over the years at Rainbow Serpent Festival. She adores progressive genres that encompass deep, organic, driving, hypnotic, emotive and often tribal/ethereal elements and often likes to incorporate these into her mixes and sets. She hopes that you enjoy her one hour mix for LIA."

Hobin Rude is a 24 year old Serbian progressive house DJ/Producer based in Belgrade who is seamlessly searching for deeper meaning through music, rooted in rhythm and gently carried forward by deep sonic patterns.

As an embodiment of passion and dedication, Hobin Rude managed to gain an impressive foothold in the global progressive scene within a short space of time.

Having succeeded to sign and release tracks with worlds prestigious and well known record labels such as The Soundgarden, Plattenbank, Mango Alley, Hoomidaas, Beat Boutique, Movement Recordings, Sound Avenue, Manual, onedotsixtwo and so on, he managed to get his music played by worlds biggest artists like: Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Eelke Kleijn, Danny Tenaglia, John 00 Fleming, Guy Mantzur, Armen Miran, Solarstone, Gabriel & Dresden, Nora En Pure, Nicolas Rada just to name a few.

This guy is a truly Progressive House lover. You can hear that in his sets because they are filled with emotions & rhtyhm. Igor D. is on the scene from 2008. and for that time he played along side names like Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo, Guy Mantzur, Dave Seaman, Marcelo Vasami, Alex O'Rion, East Cafe, Finnebassen, Marcus Worgull, Max Demand, Jelly For The Babies, DJ Acim, Bokee... There are numerous producers and DJ's that he likes but if he must choose then Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren will be on the top. Igor D. is also one of the leader members of a Progresivna Suza group and a host of Progressive Tales Podcast where you can hear famous Progressive House artists from all around the world. In 3 seasons he managed to be a host of over 90 DJ's. Some of his guests were Cid Inc., Dmitry Molosh, Analog Jungs, Kamilo Sanclemente, Eran Aviner...  His biggest accomplishments for now are for sure playing in Barutana, Exit Festival, Sabac Summer Festival, club DOT, half, TOP Club (Slovenia)...

music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Throughout my childhood I drifted between instruments and genres. Piano as a child; trombone as a teenager, bass guitar through to uni - all while covering music styles from jazz, funk, disco and progressive rock. However; later in life I realised nothing was as influential as when my Dad purchased of Logic 2 for Mac and a Korg X5 MIDI keyboard in the mid-1990’s - I’d sneak into his “studio” and was fascinated by the idea of being able to play and manipulate the sounds as I please. This was my discovery of my love and passion for electronic music.
Over 20 years later, I’ve spent almost every spare moment refining my passion into a unique and defined sound that takes influence from my past (jazz, funk and progressive rock in particular) and channels it into a unique electronic sound that sits somewhere across the spectrum of disco, deep house, progressive house and melodic house & techno.
