Hello Everyone! It is 9.00am Wednesday here in Dublin, our bags are packed and our passport stamped, join us aboard another PFG Progcast!

We are crossing off another new destination today, as the Starship PFG jets into South Africa, and her City Of Gold.. Johannesburg! Our search for talent here didn't take long however, today's act has been on our radar for a while now and he was super keen to be involved with us. Were sure you are gonna love this one, here with an extended set containing several of his own productions. give it up for XABISO!

Born in the City Of Gold , XABISO first dipped his toe into the ocean of electronic music at the age of 14. His initial love was trance music – until he discovered John Digweed and progressive house. From this moment his musical taste moved into a whole new direction.

XABISO first began DJ-ing in 2009 initially keeping it as a hobby. It wasn’t long before his passion for the art took over. As with all true artists, XABISO’s journey comes with a story of struggle. He was initially met with resistance when attempting to get gigs because, at the time, his style of music was not appreciated. However, his perseverance and commitment has paid off and he finally has a platform that he uses to push the sound of progressive house in his region.

In 2018 he started his journey into the world of music production. He couldn’t even play a note or a chord. This caused him to seek out a mentor. Having followed the career of Liz Cirelli since inception – and considering her to be an amazing and talented artist, he reached out to her. Under her guidance and tutelage he has made a lot of meaningful progress in just under three years. He has releases on Flemcy Music, If You Wait Music and Holy Grail music. He also became the owner of Honey Drops (Amber Long’s former label) and is currently working on the upcoming releases for this new venture.
His style is an intoxicating blend of progressive house and techno. He loves to experiment and push the boundaries of his craft, especially as a music producer. As a DJ the influence of John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick warren can be heard in his sets.

XABISO’s goal is clear: To keep on pushing his sound and refine his skill’s as a DJ and Producer. We feel he's on the right track!
