Hello Everyone, welcome back to the PFG Progcast! Fly with us every Wednesday as we scour the globe looking for those perfect Progressive beats! 

Stopping at the home of a girl whose very DNA is entwined with rave culture, our DJ today has only really just taken to the decks in the last few years. She's landed a few hot residencies, and with this guest mix aims to show us all where she is in her career progression .. we think its coming along just fine!

Based in England's leafy Loughborough, Candy Dupree Webb began her journey into electronic music, and the raving that comes with it, in 1992. She had already been into dance music since reaching her teens, and went to her first ever rave at the age of 17! After a few years of attending hardcore, drum and bass and jungle raves, it was The Man Like Sasha that initially turned her ear to the house music scene.

Following that, Sasha's world dominance with John Digweed and their game changing back to back DJ sets, locked Candy into the groove and took her down the Progressive House route. As it is the same for millions of us in the scene, Renaissance: The Mix Collection album changed the way she understood music and the art of mixing, forever.

It has taken nearly 20 years for Candy to transfer her wealth of knowledge in front of the decks to behind them. After being urged to put her passion for the scene and its music into something more fruitful than just messing around at after parties, it was the recent global pandemic and subsequent lockdown's, that finally saw Candy take the plunge. This time away from her beloved clubbing focused her mind on her mixing, the results of which are now bearing fruit.

Shortly after, Candy bagged a residency with PHUK, and has several head line DJ Show's online now. Top of these is her Saturday night slot on Subcode Club, playing alongside many of her DJ heroes!
