It's a regular journey down to Argentina this week, a country where we've clocked up the most air miles travelling to!  Heading into Rosario, and a DJ in top form right now, with countless gigs and nights under her belt, and some choice ones also on the horizon. Maria Pedraza aka ALMA(AR) is a DJ/Producer from Rosario in Argentina. ALMA's work captures the crowd's attention with an avant-garde style in her mixes, combining Progressive, Deep and Melodic house, and a characteristic groove in her productions. Her signature style fuses hypnotic melodies to Afro-Cuban percussions, creating tracks such as 'Absence of Light' released on Shine.

Her music has seen life on labels such as La Cura de la Semana, Droid9, Shine Music Label & Nube Music, consistently hitting high positions in charts with support from the masters like Alejo Gonzalez, Nick Muir & Hernan Cattaneo.

Her many skills as a DJ has seen her land several headlining gigs and she has also supported the likes of Fernando Ferreyra & Diego Olba. Online you can find ALMA has been showcasing her talents with Proton, X-Beat, Droid9. and Amber Long's LIA Series.
