Sziasztok Mindenkinek és üdvözlök mindenkit! Yes, hello everyone and welcome! Your are in tune to our weeekly globe-trotting, genre smashing Progcast, strap yourselves in for a wild ride as we take you to another HOT dance floor destination.. 

Nearly 2 years ago to the day, we introduced a then aspiring, young, experimental electronic artist, finding his path way through the scene and all of its pitfalls and high notes. That was his first ever guest mix, so enthralled we were by it, and him, that we kept a close on his progress until today. Now a fully fledged producer, remixer and more we are delighted to welcome the unique NorB, back behind our legendary turntables. Make some noise!!

Hailing from Hungary, Norbi Szakács (aka NorB) grew up listening to trance, before discovering progressive and melodic house, where his primary focus sits today. 

Although still fairly early into his journey as a producer, NorB already lays claim to an enviable discography. In collaboration with Canadian producer and vocalist juSt b, NorB first emerged in 2022 with ‘Different Places', a 3-track showcase via John Digweed's Bedrock Records, no less. 

Immediately noted for his timeless approach, the track would go on to feature on John's ‘Live in London' and ‘Quattro III' collections, while the B-side ‘Close Your Eyes', featured on the label's year end retrospective showcase.

Balance Music would then serve as home for the duo's lone 2023 production ‘At This Moment', a track which Henry Saiz would remodel for his ‘Balance 032' collection. In 2023, NorB launched the monthly Static Fields mix show, which is now broadcast on four radio stations around the world. While rooted in progressive sounds, the show also prominently features hypnotic and deep techno, along with influences from various other styles.

Moving forward, 2024 found NorB continuing his creative partnership with juSt b, with the duo signing productions to ICONYC, Stellar Fountain and Stripped Digital, the latter of which rounded out the year in impressive fashion across three well-received tracks. 

At the beginning of this year, NorB added South American super-label Sound Avenue to his resume with a track-track solo showcase, Dharma, alongside remixes from Andres Moris, Haen, and Drekaan. 

In today's mix, Norbi opens up our mind with a collection of superb deep tech, ambient and experimental techno, fused together with that touch of class found in all of his DJ sets.. ENJOY!
