This was My Favourite Robot's secret surprise set at Cherry Beach. Originally hailing from Canada, My Favourite Robot has made global waves with their label and touring performances. This set was one of the most interesting and compelling sets we've heard at Cherry Beach, and they brought out a great crowd of fans who were really feeling everything they played.

This is the final set for Harvest 2016 inside of Chrystal 6, our massive Mayan pyramid - shaped stage. We had beautiful weather this fall, and this set was the perfect way to finish off a night of solid dancing in the warm fall temps! Always our favourite Leelee.

Mike and Jamie came on hot in the peak of the night with this set. It was in our massive Mayan pyramid-shaped stage Chrystal 6 with the full show - lasers, lights, smoke machine, jumping costumed forest partiers. A great anchor set for a great night.

Diskomaster came up to play Promise Cherry Beach from Syracuse. This amazing visitor knows our parties from years ago, and was excited to make the trip. He crossed a number of genres and held them together so tightly, it was a killer spectacle. He was liking the layer of sand on his stage cause it made it easier for dj dancemoves....and the crowd went wild.

We find Christian to be the most beautiful and esoteric of the Dirtybird record label founders. Christian's sets always blow us away and we knew that  his sound was perfect for our late night event on the lake on the tall sailing ship Kajama. Yes, that's the Toronto skyline in the background of the picture.

Picture a techno party on a pirate ship with people dressed as Vikings, pirates, seamen and whatever. Christian Martin losing it in the middle of the crowd and pumping the crap out of a huge KV2 soundsystem.  Ya that happened.

We've been fans of Paul's forever, and his North American tour put him in the right place and right time to visit Promise Cherry Beach. We knew he'd be perfect for that languid mid-afternoon stretch of breathtaking water vistas and sailboats slipping by in the sun, leaves rustling overhead, beer in hand - all that nice stuff. Some delicious European house music on a crystal clear KV2 sound system. 

This set encapsulates all those feelings and moments that make this event dear to our hearts. Thanks Paul for this great music.

Demuir. One of Toronto's best house djs, and a bit of a secret as he plays more travelling gigs than hometown jams. This was his debut for Promise and he got an amazing amount of beach love with us.

This Canada Day version of Promise Cherry Beach was one of our best events ever on the beach. it was our first super hot day that year, all of our friends were there in full force, and there was an incredible happy magic in the air everywhere. 

The focus of the day was Canadian djs and great party music. Smalltown Djs are huge western Canada superstars, creating touring projects with the like-minded Dirtybird crew in California, and slaying great dj slots at the massive westcoast fesivals of Shambala and Bass Coast.  They rolled in with a huge westcoast party smash-down set and helped us create the best Canada Day party.

Hauy emerged to us as a storied DJ and producer from Brazil who had made his way to Toronto. We heard such great things that we absolutely had to book for the Cherry Beach series. He was so great we immediately booked him for Harvest Festival main room closing set. It was an absolute miracle of time and place and music and spirit and captured many souls.  It was such an incredible moment we extended and extended his set a number of times. Enjoy this capture.

Sierra has been a long time favourite of ours and was perfect for opening this amazing second-last day of Promise Cherry Beach 2019. She went on to play a dynamic set at the Harvest Festival Thermodome and was the breakout hit of that whole afternoon. Here she is at Cherry Beach.
