Someone Like You

The second single off our upcoming debut EP 'Love Letters From Houston,' "Love On TV" reflects on the love we have someone and how we often compare it the preconceived notions we're taught growing up of what love should look like. Our vocal harmonies and the performance of our incredible saxophonist on "Love On TV" were inspired by the 90s Pop R&B records by Boyz II Men, Jodeci, and Brian McKnight.

Nigeria-born, Texas-raised duo KAIRO, comprised of 21 y.o. identical twin brothers Ej and Ak, come out the gate swinging with their singles "Someone Like You" and "Love On TV" off their upcoming debut EP 'Love Letters From Houston' (out May 25th). 
 
"This past year has been filled with so many new opportunities since finding success on TikTok. We quietly took a step back from posting to properly find and develop our sound.
 
Our upcoming music sets the foundation for our careers that we have been building towards over the last seven years. We hope fans get to see a deeper side to us. We have been creating and surrounded by music since we were little kids. Whether it was singing in our father’s church, battling on the stage of our school’s talent shows, or sharing our interpretations of other artists' original songs, the love for music has always been there. 

We're now ready to share our original music, too. We are so proud of these songs and we've got lots more coming. We’re happy to invite you into this new world of KAIRO and we hope you enjoy!!
