Welcoming cool girl Kana (all the way from California) to our mixtape series. Kana Hishiya is a Japanese DJ and producer born in Japan and based in Los Angeles. 
We first came across Kana in 2020 and we have been keen following her sounds ever since. With a keen passion for house music, her productions and DJ sets deliver a minimal groove, often with energetic rhythms and punchy baselines. Kana’s calendar has been packed with a slew of shows across the US over summer, and we can totally see why. Expect lots of high energy, dubby and eclectic sounds to keep you locked in this absolutely stellar mix - an excellent introduction for our listeners in the Southern Hemisphere. 🔮🪄✨

Piero Gigante aka Zigler, is an Italian techno DJ and producer class '90 based in Belgium. His passion for music began when he was young, thanks to the approach of some musical instruments. During adolescence, he listened to, electronic, techno and minimal sounds. At the age of 18 he started to produce the first tracks, beginning the search for his own sound. So far he has worked and is part of the roster of labels around the globe such as Hardtools, Signal, TMM and EXP Records to name a few. Milli Joins Darkelementsofc Guestmix Series #011
  Milli has always been captured and inspired by music, often considering it as the only form of personal expression. The fascination she has for brutalist, industrial, decadent and abandoned contexts lead her to approach the synthetic, dark, harsh, penetrating, raw, and strident sounds of techno music, capturing her soul.  The event that sparked off was when she first saw The Prodigy's music video No Good (Start The Dance), in 1997.  The exaltation and the sense of freedom that those people transmitted to her in the video, the lightness, the light-heartedness, the sense of aggregation that she managed to grasp, bewitch her to the point of deciding to want to be part of that world for the whole life.  Having moved to Rome from a small town in the province of Naples, she has the opportunity to enter this scenario, participating in some of the capital's underground events, such as the techno event of the organization Amigdala at the Ex Dogana, or the after-parties of the Neo and the After 300 at the former general warehouses.  Her sets are to be interpreted as emotional introspective journeys, with the aim of replacing words with music, accompanying the listener on own inner journey, and often this results in Dj sets that evolve rhythmically, combining dark and hypnotic sounds with raw and industrial sonorities.

Glasgow based Kenny Campbell has gained a reputation for delivering hard hitting sets whether they are techno, industrial, EBM or old skool hardcore. He’s as comfortable playing at 100 bpm as he is 300 bpm.

In recent years he’s been a regular at Drøne in Manchester as well as playing all over the UK, Europe and as far afield as Sri Lanka, with frequent appearances in Germany, France and Netherlands. In his travels he’s played alongside such diverse names as Nitzer Ebb, KRTM, Laurent Ho, Philipp Strobel, Black Kolor, Crystal Geometry, The Horrorist, Easygroove, Autumns, D.Carbone, The Mover and many more.

Running the label Pitch Dark Records, initially with Alex Mullen and now on his own has seen the label go from strength to strength, with releases being supported by many A list names.

As a producer he achieved his life long dream of releasing on Industrial Strength Records. With other notable releases and remixes on Drøne, Eradys, RIOT Radio Records, SHISHI, Raven Sigh and Taro Records. His long term collaboration with Huck Farper as Bone Skippers has featured on Monolith Records and Green Fetish Records and his now prolific collaboration with Duelist has seen releases on Scuderia, Black Verb, Dissonanze and Clan Destne Records.

His love of 90s hardcore has been a focus and along with Technotrance they have relaunched Judgement Day Records and collaborated on Malevolent Forces, with the aim of bringing the sound of 90s hardcore to a new generation of revers and old heads alike.
