Contrary to what its title suggests, Anthony Tring’s ‘Fracture’ isn’t structurally incomplete nor
hesitant – but a raw 6-minute showcase of modulating low end tension. It’s a style we’ve come to
expect to from the UK artist and, arguably, what he does best. Reserved for when the club is at its
most transcendent, ‘Fracture’ is a joy ride through dense atmospheres, succinct percussion and
effervescent white noise. A sturdy low-end pulse is at the heart Tring’s experimentations, allowing
for a sense of chaotic freedom amongst the track’s other elements – apocalyptic synth’s ebb and
flow, making for moments of pure cathartic release, only to be anxiously reeled back. As if it was
written with the first post-lockdown rave in mind, this slice of peak time leaves one yearning for
dancefloors more than ever.

Oscar Mulero’s own Warm Up label goes 50 releases old and to celebrate, there is an special release planned: A double remixes vinyl pack as well as an extended digital release including the four previously only vinyl available Pattern Series.

The remix pack will have revisions of the original Oscar’s works by the likes of: Silent Servant, Cassegrain, Kanding Ray, Donatto Dozzy, Shlømo and Chevel. Each one getting the essence of the originals but adding their very personal touch to the pack. As a result all kinds of techno flavors are represented, from the harsh and rude to the liquid and floaty.

If you weren’t lucky enough to get the translucent limited vinyl pattern series, now you have the chance of having them in your digital crate via the online version of the release.

El paquete de remezclas contará con trabajos de Oscar revisados por algunos de los productores más importantes del panorama actual como son: Silent Servant, Cassegrain, Kanding Ray, Donatto Dozzy, Shlømo o Chevel. We first heard Lucas Marchal (dc11) on his web channel where he shares modular videos, working with very precise and deep modules including verbos, buchla red panels, random source and many other brands. We immediately thought his tracks would fit perfectly on the
label so we asked him to cook something up for us.
The 4 tracks he sent us were recorded during the beginning of 2020, straight from the modular with no post processing apart from mastering. At that time, he focused on hypnotic, minimalist and heavy loops on his modular while taking inspiration from Joe Roberts’s
psychedelic paintings.

The release name “immersion” reflects exactly the feeling you have when listening to the tracks, black hole loops, evolving psychedelic textures driven by strong and groovy bass will guide you from beginning to end.
