March '20 - our dancefloors shut, the rave stops. Today, more than a year later, we're still waiting for our favorite clubs to reopen their doors and our favorite festival to enchant us yet another time. We all miss our chance to gather in warm crowds, share a smile with a stranger and shake off the burdens of everyday life on the dance floor. It's a challenging time for the scene, mentally and physically. But lo and behold, sooner or later, social isolation will come to an end and there will be a REVIVAL.

After months of planning & scheming, we're hyper-excited to present our very first label release - a 10 track compilation to revive our dancefloors after their dormancy. The full compilation will be released throughout summer ’21.

Ilu & Aaye, aka Pascale Voltaire and Boy Next Door, join us for the fourth REVIVAL single with a fluffy and flowy summer tune with an organic feel called ‚Not Alone‘. Since their very first releases, the duo’s unique and mature sound has caught our attention and we couldn’t be happier to welcome them on the label. Grooving along like a warm July day, the track’s smooth drum arrangement and light synths transmit a feeling of ease and joy, making the track the perfect fit for your daytime festival set.

All revenue goes to the artist and 15% of royalties are donated to help people in the poorest parts of Africa thanks to our distribution partner Forward.

We are always excited when new artists debut on the label. This time DIEGO MIRANDA (CH) is in our focus. His originals got our attention from the first moment, because his sound is very unique and outstanding.  

Zenebona is always open for special vibes. 
The title track BEIRUT or the other original QUANTUM are cannot easily be categorized. High quality house music we guess, it’s somewhere in the middle of the organic house and melodic house stuffs. Diego mixes the sound of real instruments and synthesizers in an amazing way.

Both originals give us a long nice deep journey. 

And the story is not over yet. It is a big honor for us to have HOJ (Tale & Tone, ADID) in the pack. He made a remix for BEIRUT. His remix is a super fine organic masterpiece. No need to tell more details about it, just listen to the remix.

The second remix is from the label owner. Peter made an epic house version for Quantum with a nice funky groove, nice melodies and a cathartic break. 

The whole EP is very playable. You can find a DJ friendly pack again on Zenebona. 
Don’t hesitate to play all of them and choose your favorite.

Chrom is starting 2022 with a red hot new release by international DJ/producer & Award Winning Remixer Yves Eaux together with his longtime friend Octabar. The two Dutchmen are involved in organizing several prolific events around The Netherlands and share quite some time in the studio. Their extensive multi-genre producer experience and wide taste for electronic music makes their productions versatile and exciting. Without the pressure to stick within a certain style or genre. But one thing always remains: their music does magic on the dance floor.

Their EP for Chrom is called "See You Crying" and contains 2 originals. "We are very pleased to release these tracks on Chrom Recordings. When we produced these two we were already thinking of sending them to Pedro Mercado. I had so much fun with him in Ibiza and have followed his amazing label since. Octobar and I try to fuse little elements from other genres to our productions to give them a fresh perspective and a new vibe. The same thing you recognize in many of the Chrom releases. So it was only logical to sign them with Chrom." says Yves Eaux.

On top of that we added an indie dance oriented remix for each track. The title track is remixed by the Danish duo Nilu & Kaimo who appeared already a few times with success on our label. The B-track which is called "Take Me Down" is remixed by SNYL who is an important member of the Hungarian Artessa Music team as a producer & label manager. Next to his releases on Artessa, he appeared also on other labels such as Beatfreak, Krafted Underground, Capital Heaven, JEAHMON!, ICONYC, Ritual, Sincopat,...

Enoo Napa gives us his interpretation, as usual terrific, with a solid bass line and a slightly darker atmosphere. To complete the EP, you’ll find “If You Ever” an organic house track, with entertaining melodies and rhythms, and a mysterious vocal which takes you far away. Viel (IT) offers a dreamy version of this piece, slightly more progressive, with dancing elements and sinuous piano and strings vibes. A worthwhile long awaited new year’s inauguration.
