AHHHHHHHHH HI EVERYONE!!!!!!!!

THIS is the MOST excited and proud I've been of a release of mine in some time and I'm so unbelievably stoked to be able to say that THIS SONG IS A RELEASE WITH NIGHT OWL COLLECTIVE!!!! I've been a major fan of the label since I discovered them around 2018 and they've been one of the biggest inspirations for my music and just how I live my life. Getting a release on NOC has been one of the biggest goals for me since I found them and it makes me so happy to say that I've finally done it. I've had the absolute pleasure of getting to know and become friends with the owner of the label, Jonny, earlier this year and seeing his reaction when I played this song in the car however many months ago is something I won't soon forget. 

"Wauw" also holds a very special place in my heart, not only because it's my first Night Owl release, but this was the first song I made when my family and I moved to Texas in 2021. That was a really rough time for me as I was having a hard time adjusting to the move and leaving my old home of 20 years. We were staying in an Airbnb at the time and my room had a super nice view of a dog park right in front of the house so, for me, this song brings a nice throwback to when I was beginning to positively adjust to our new area. Of course, the move ended up being a blessing as I've now met so many awesome new people that helped this song find it's proper home and I've even been able to meet friends I've known for years online in person for the first time.

overthinking my projects has been one of if not the biggest problem i face when i make music and im tired of it. so i sat down for a hour and a half and made something where that wasn't allowed.

We originally made this for @wearesilkenwood's Better Together Volume 3. Unfortunately we didn't make the cut, but we still wanted to release this since uhhh we kinda made a BANGER. For a little while I've wanted to see what ZEEMEE and I could do in a collab together so it made me SUPER excited to see that we got paired up. Our start with the song was a bit rough due to insane unfortunate timings but once we got things cleared up things eventually started to click. This is also like my first real project where I tried to make a hard drop (the last one) and I think I'm pretty proud of it :).

Hope you all are doing well and enjoying this holiday! Got a really fun and upbeat track for you guys. This one is really cool as it's another project with the one and only @nightowlcollective! In February of 2022, the label was still in a dormant state so a bunch of us fans, including myself, came together and decided to make a mini fan made version of the iconic Feel Trip volumes. We call it "Feel Trip Fan Tribute" and Tripped Up is what I was able to make for it. It's a sweet little compilation with a good handful of tunes all inspired by the overall vibe of what Night Owl Collective is. I think Tripped Up is super cool and I really like the structure of it and I hope you guys do too :). heyo!!!!!! hello hello hello :)
it's my birthday today and i'm turning the big 21! it was also the 5 year anniversary for the beginning of the Ilysian alias fairly recently so i wanted to make a lil something to celebrate. as some of you are aware i can be known sometimes for my uhhh pretty impressive and dope burps and i thought it'd be funny if i made a sample pack out of them lmao. 

all the main sound design are the burps except for tha drumsss :o

got some of my friends to help make a few demos showing off some of the uses of said burps so ya'll can maybe get some inspiration of your own if you decide to throw these burps in a track. enjoy the lil short but sweet demo mix :)

ILYSIAN @ OTHERFXST | AUGUST 13TH, 2022

Yooooo! Hello hellooo👋! It's been a little while since my last official release but we're here now and I cannot tell you guys how excited I am to FINALLY start releasing what I've had in the works since 2019. I've been so nervous about letting my Airport EP project out in to the world and "letting go" of what I've created. Liliko'i was started earlier this year and is named after a fruit that is grown in Hawaii. I had some juice that was made with it when I visited the state in 2020 and it was really good so I decided to name this track after that. A section of my EP also somewhat revolves around my trip to Hawaii so that's where this song ties in with "The Airport".

Liliko'i acts as a precursor to my upcoming EP and hopefully hypes ya'll up for what I got coming as much as it's also helping me feel more comfortable with releasing my project :) Hope you all enjoy!

First official release of 2025! I've gotten super into the synthwave scene recently and have been absolutely loving listening to artists like Voyage, KING PALM and the legendary Home. I was on a trip visiting Canada with my family just this last September and one of the days consisted of exploring Banff, Alberta. While we drove for a couple hours in our rental I decided to go back into my Spotify likes and started a radio based off the song "Aura" by Voyage and everything that played after just sounded sooo good, like magic. I really love this type of sound, so this is my first real go at trying out this genre :) Hope you guys dig it 🤝

I also recently-ish finished building a sick nasty LEGO Concorde plane that I got for Christmas, which is HUGE, and this track is named after that. The artwork I made features a Concorde model I made in Magicavoxel :)

"I just want to say, putting this set together was one of the most stressful experiences I have ever had in my entire life. I have never encountered the levels of anxiety I had when making this. I was so absolutely terrified of letting everyone down and completely blowing my first url set and leaving everyone with a bad impression. I kept running into so many problems and kept worrying about transitions and not being able to upload the set due to copyrighted material there were some times I really thought I wasn't going to be able to finish this in time.

That being said, this event was a big deal for me and I seriously cannot find the words to express the happiness and joy I felt while seeing everyone in the discord react to my set. It was a truly surreal experience. Everyone's kind words before and after my set meant the whole world to me and helped give me the motivation I needed.

I'm so glad I was able to participate in this event. HUGE special THANK YOU to @ex-makina, @stardreaming, @bhproducer, @clearlew, 'The Monsterchat' fam ;) and Matthew and Seth for all your support.

This last week i took part in an event hosted by Penis Music Collective called "Pass The Peen"! Over the time span of a week, multiple artists got assigned anonymous group members and they all had to make a song together. The first artist would make a section of a song, then pass the stems off to the other group member for them to do their thing, and so on and so on. It was SO cool seeing the different members of my group slowly being revealed, then hearing the final product for the first time during the listening party. It was AMAZING.

Huge freakin props to @pixondle for putting this together this was so cool.

And BIG UPS to my group members like wtf how did ya'll do this lmao.

heyo ! felt like putting together a lil mix/comp. of some of my MANY wips i have so i can share with you guys a little picture of the ideas the future holds :) some of these are kinda old, but the ones that are that were added in here are here because i still would like to work on them some more and maybe remake them . anyways , hope you like what's to come !

0:00 so this ID is one that i really enjoy. i started this in september of last year and this song was sort of the start of when i really began to find the sound i wanted to go for i think.

1:12 this one is the first in a 3-song experiment where i found some loops i had that i really liked and tried to make a song off of it. the marimba loop is the sample i used and i really like the vibe that comes from this.

3:23 i started this song not too long ago when i visited Hawaii for the first time in february. i stayed in the town of Kailua-Kona and really tried to capture the always upbeat, bright and colorful vibe of the place and so far i am really enjoying this one.

4:18 this ID was inspired by the "all-chill" label "melo." (@melolabel) i discovered a couple months ago. their releases are super cool and i pretty much always put them on late at night when im playin games or just talking with friends. this one really brings a smile to my face as well and i think i got the melo vibe on this one pretty good :)

6:39 now THIS track i started quite a while ago. even then, it was kind of a ways away from the style i was trying to make then but i still find myself really enjoying this one whenever i re-listen and i definitely want to find a way to revive this.

7:24 along with the last one, this one was started a while ago too but i still just LOVE how this one hits. every time i listen i always get the urge to add on to this but with every idea i've tested out it's just felt super off and like it doesn't fit. i'm confident i'll be able to find the right addition, i can't let this one become forgotten lol.

8:45 this is the most recent ID that's on this mix. about a week ago i just got a sudden idea for a song in 3/4 and right away i started working on it. i couldn't be happier with what i've got so far i'm, like, truly in love with this haha. definitely got to try out different time signatures in the future this project has been really fun to toy with :)

8 MONTHS since my last solo release !!!! aaaa it's been too long. hello ya'll how are you :)

"Evoo" comes from one of the 3 main styles i want to stick with as ilysian. these kind of tracks that are simplistic/minimalistic but have a clear idea of what they want to be have been my (probably) favorite genre of future bass for the longest time. with this song i feel like i was finally able to stop overthinking so much like i do with many other projects while also pulling off that style i adore so much and i think you guys will be able to see that.

hello again! I said I would release this if Evoo hit 1k but I've been holding on to this track for too long for my liking and I really wanted you guys to hear this :)

Similar to Evoo, the style of "Bubbles" is one of the 3 main styles I want to keep making as Ilysian. i got inspired by some of the songs and ideas i hear from night owl collective when i was making this as this similar sound always had me super interested so i decided to take a shot at it. hope you guys enjoy! part 3 of my styles will be coming soon :)
