Nouvelle série de podcasts par un collectif durant un mois. En cet été, qui de mieux que le collectif parisien Horde pour nous délecter de leur musique orientée vers des fêtes de plein air (soirées Merveilleuse au Nuba, au Café Barge) afin de rassembler toute sorte de monde autour d’agréable beats housy.

Pour ce premier épisode, c’est SANDER qui s’y colle, avec un set de 58 minutes parfaitement à l’image du collectif et de cette période estivale. Quasiment une heure de house donc pour vous trémousser au soleil ou tout simplement se dorer la pilule.

I met the crew TAK Naoned on summer 2015, this was the beginning of something strong with their energy, all their well intented hands and brains, that made me excited to express a part of my emotional music universe.
It's a pleasure today to share an exclusive set for TAK, in which i made a special selection of melancholic and deep tracks as i loved to play there in Nantes (west of France) on February 2016 when they invited me for their incredible night ONIRISME.

There is always a sign of hope or a positive aspect in an otherwise negative situation. In the past few months, when we were all apart, music brought us together like nothing else would in these circumstances. We decided to show our appreciation and continue this unity through our new podcast series called "The Bright Side".

@im-sander has been active in the Paris scene for years, with his crew @hordeparis and then through his own events named “Ayahuasca”. He successfully spread his highly emotional DJ sets all across the city, allowing the public to discover a new side of electronic music and a different vision for their surroundings. 

On this very special edition of the Bright Side, Sander creates a story that stirs powerful emotions and memories - an experience almost everybody can relate to, where you are transported back to a particular moment in time just like stepping into a time machine. You can feel everything very strongly, as if you were actually there.

A set that strikes all the right chords, allowing the rise of dopamine to take your body on a physiological joyride – triggering a sensation that gives you the so-called “chills”. An unpredictable story that teases your brain and memory.

Sander has been active in the vibrant Parisian scene for quit some
years now. Firstly, with his crew «Horde» and then through his
own events «Ayahuasca», he spread his highly emotional dj sets
all over the city, opening up the public to discover a new side of
electronic music and a different vision of celebrating music in a
special surrounding.

After a long time working on producing and crafting his own
sound carefully, he revealed his true personality through his live
act. Sander’s music is highlighted by his use of melancholic, and
sad atmospheres, expressed by pads and orchestral violins aiming
to touch people deeply and even bring to tears the most sensitive
ones. He also loves to use dark bass frequencies expressing rage
and hopelessness, but he always find a way to elevate the mood
and deliver the good vibes.

His music act as a strong therapy to the public. Slowly building
each element, he leads our mind to a hypnotizing state and slightly
prepares us to receive his story. With sincerity, he discloses
himself to the audience in a pure and direct way. It allows us to
face our true self, acting as a mirror to our soul. Revealing who we
really are, how we really feel to the others is not something easy.
We all build up fences and masks to protect ourselves, which, in
fact, separates us from the each other. But when they are down,
we can only realise that we all share the same feelings, struggles
and hopes. We are all human beings.

Music is a precious tool. It can connect strangers on a deep
and personal level in a single moment, It can also be a way of
expressing oneself in the most authentic way. Artists like Sander ,
are here to remind us it’s worth the try.
