I'M STILL HERE - Forsaken Aurora

The project I'M STILL HERE was born in August 2011, bounding together the remains of the metalcore band LAYNE, with the frontman Francisco Gasparini. The LAYNE group (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Layne/44877486089) has already recorded two EPs with different line up and support lives to international bands, such as Texas in July, Vanna, Lionheart, Nueva Etica, Olde Yorke, Devotion, and Show your teeth. On the other side, in the mean time, Francisco Gasparini, was already laying down the "Fast youth soundtrack" with the Resolve. The CD has been published by Oxigetante prod/Audioglobe, and has experimented both an Italian tour and a mini German tour. From this last experience, the video of the single "Misperceptions" has been inspired, with Salvatore Perrone_Xavy as producer. Within the past three years, Francisco Gasparini had the possibility to perfom live with the Resolve for ActionMen, Seed'n'feed, and The Fire e Strung Out. He also carried out the promo "Capricorn EP" with I Boutuques, anticipation of the album "Swansongs" which will be published in September 2012.
The band offers alternative metal, with acoustics ranging from the typical modern sound to the '90s style, using frequent breakdown and melodic opennesses. Songs are almost completely deprived of growl screams, but they maintain groove and power, being influenced and inspired by different bands, such as Sevendust, Breaking Benjamin, and Killswitch Engage. In April 2012, I'M STILL HERE will be entering the Hate Vicenza Studio (www.hatestudio.it), in order to record the first EP "ANDROMEDA", debùt of the band. Producer and supervisor of the realization will be Maurizio Baggio.
