It could be tempting to just stick to the same recepie, but that's not me :D
I have paid tribute to Pryda and Cirez D in my previous reboots, but not yet to the man's Eric Prydz facet. So here it is !
Inevitably it is going to sound a little more mainstream, but I did my best to darken the whole thing enough so that it would fit my style.

I was digging on my hard drive when I found an old Qlimax video I had downloaded way back in 2004. Oh my days, the good old times where there was no phone to be seen and people would just dance like there was no tomorrow <3
At that time I was very much into hardstyle and watching this video made me want to be a bit nostalgic and do something with one of those old classics.

Another deep dive in the techno culture with this time a Reboot of Joey Beltram's ANTHEM, "Energy Flash". I reworked it quite a lot, while still trying to respect the hell out of it and remain close enough to the original to keep its magical vibe.
Paired together with the excellent "Back to the Old Schoold from Turkish duo OZBEK & Zafer Atabey, I am quite proud of the result !

Hello Machine Boyz and Girls !
After a little break I am back to paying homage to Mr Eric Prydz, the GOAT !
This time it is the turn of one of his most "recent" releases, "Century of Mouse" to get The Machine treatment.
I really liked the dark vibe the synth were giving to the latest Phoenix Movement release : Rhodope, a beautiful Techno track with an eerie traditional Bulgarian chant.

Cirez D X UMEK, Popof & Space 92 - Dare U To Lose Control (The Machine Reboot)

Oh my god..... I am still in shock and in awe with Eric's latest set at Ultra Miami ! 
This set very much reminds me of his now legendary BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix from 10 years ago. My mind got blown away the same way, the way only Mr Prydz, the GOAT can do...
I think with this set Eric Prydz is starting something. He is ramping up for his 20 years and the album and releases that will come with it.
My mind is truly blown away... This is no longer a DJ set, this is no longer music, it is something far deeper and spiritual than that... It has truly been over 10 years that I hadn't felt that, and I am infinitely grateful to Eric Prydz to allow us to feel such incredible emotions with his art.

Now I pondered this in my mind  for a few hours before proceeding, one of the main reasons being that this new Cirez D track, for the moment named "The Ave 2024 ID", is not yet released, which is ethically a little bit borderline. But then, I am taking the track in a totally different direction from what Eric Prydz did, and I really worked in this reboot as an homage, with all the incredible respect I have for the man.

I hope you will like it, I really had tons of fun doing it and I found myself dancing in front of the computer more than one... This bassline... It's just irresistible !

Back in the days, around 2003-2004 even before I listened to Hardstyle and Qlimax stuff, I used to listen to some 170 BPM Makina. Yes, I've explored a lot of styles XD
Anyway, I decided to dig in some old CDs I still have and stumbled upon a track in 3000% Makin a which inspired me and seem to be a good match with the recent "I am Free" from Marie Vaunt & Metodi Hristov
So I had fun, and here you go :)
It probably won't be everyone's cup of tea, but I had a lot of fun digging in my old makina CDs and doing this Reboot :D

Marie Vaunt & Metodi Hristov - I Am A Free Motherfucker (The Machine 'Power Vinyl' Reboot)

Dear Machine Boyz and Girlz,
This one might be a little bit "niche" because of the French language of the vocal, but it felt important to me. 
Last weekend my 4 year old daughter had her end of the year Dance show, and that is where I discovered this song by Zaho de Sagazan. Some of them might wonder if I live in a cave, but no, it's simply that I NEVER listen to radio, so I had never heard it before.
But what a shock... What a song ! It touched me so deep, I fell in love with the song, with the lyrics, with the beautiful voice and the incredible amount of emotion it conveys.
Long story short, I HAD TO make my own version of it, transpose it into my universe.
I found a good fit in the recent Progressive/Melodic Techno hit from Steve Levi "Override"
I hope you like it, despite the language barrier, and I hope you will feel the emotions :)

A few years back with a friend, we made a remix of Twilight Zone, but nothing came out of it, we didn't manage to get it signed.
I always had this track in the back of my head, so now that I'm "producing" without any pressure since I'm doing this purely for fun and not with the goal of getting my tracks signed by a label, I thought I'd tackle this classic again :D

Cosmic Boys & Demon Noise Vs 2 Unlimited - Twilight Multiverse Kombat Zone (The Machine Reboot)

Call me a lame fan, but somehow, until yesterday, I had never heard @meduzamusic x @hayla-sings 's latest single despite me listening to almost all of Meduza's DJ sets I can find.
Anyway, yesterday my youtube feed made me aware of it, I love it, the lyrics appealed to me deep within and I simply had to give it my special treatment.
So here it is, for all the people that sometimes ask themselves "what if", "what could have been in another world, another reality".
My version is a calmer and more trance/Melodic take on the very punchy original version. This is thanks to @estivamusic and @lakeavalon magnificent track called "Future Memories". I mean, even the title matches the idea I wanted to convey with my reboot. It was just meant to be, a perfect match for an alternative version/reality.

Meduza X HAYLA X Estiva & Lake Avalon - In Another World (The Machine 'Alternative Reality' Reboot)

Yesterday a work colleague I often speak about music with told me to listen to  @linkinpark 's first new single since their revival "Emptiness Machine"
Although I don't entirely relate to the lyrics (Probably Perséphone can relate to this one more than me, a story like a coin has always two sides to it and I'd be very selfish to only look at my side of the story. In any case, I can relate to the title for sure...), I really REALLY dug the vibe, so I HAD to give it my special treatment, so here it is !
Cyberpunk style, mashed up with  @extraterramusic  and  @bmxescape  latest track called Neurovolt.
I got really lucky, because to be honest, it only took me a few minutes to stumble upon it, a few more to realize that the arrangements were matching quite well, and a few much to chop some bits of and make everything work. Even counting the mixing and "mastering" part, I think this must be my fastest and most intuitive reboot ever !

Pryda x Space 92 & Popof x Adam Beyer - Rush The Insomnia Simulator (The Machine Reboot)

Dear Machine boyz and girlz,
What's your treat ? Molly ? XTC ? LSD ? 
Currently mine is more around Benzos, Trazadone, Zolpidem... Fun stuff really -_-'  As you might have understood if you're reading the description of the tracks I release, the past couple of months have been a steep dive (rather a sinking). Anyway, not here to complain, here to try to make it through and doing my Reboots is part of it !

It had been a while I had a reboot of @sebastienleger 's infamous "Take your Pills" track that hit the dancefloors back in 2005 and that I really loved at the time. But the main synth is not something very easy to work with and intergrate in an already existing track, so the project had gotten a little bit forgotten under a pile of Dust.
That was until last week when I listend the @Meduzamusic 's amazing 5 Hour set at Club Space Miami and heard this track called Tunnel from @carl-bee
What struck me, beside the sheer power of that track, is that somehow the LFOed main synth could easily play the role of a 2024 version of Take Your Pill's original synth. So there I finally had it, the opportunity to finish that long started reboot, and to do it in stule, because Tunnel is an ABSOLUTE BANGER of a track. Respect to Carl Bee for pulling this one off !
My reboot is really not one of my most complicated ones, still I relly love it.

I apologize in advance to my non French speaking audience be cause like my Reboot of "Tristesse" a few months back, this one is of a French song by French rapper @orelsan-official
My kids absolutely love that song and I have been hearing it playing LOUD in my flat for at least 3 years now. So I told my self, why not try to make something out of it, see if I can make them like it in a Techno style as well. You have to educate them early :P

Layton Giordani & Space 92 Feat Orelsan - Generation Basique (The Machine Reboot)

Once again, listening to the radio while driving to the Supermarket for grocery shopping proved to be inspiring :D
 "Coco câline" from  @julien-dore-official came up, and somehow a switch in my mind flipped and imme diatly got inspired (despite having listened to that song a lot of times before without my inspiration being triggered).
The song being quite soft, it was quite obvious I wouldn't pair it with a 135 BPM techno track. My choice went for the very chill and house vibe of  @hotsince-82 's remix of @kings-of-tomorrow-official - Fall for You released on  @defectedrecords .
The 2 tracks fit so perfectly you could think it is an original track.

Now close your eyes and imagine yourself at 6.00am on a beach in Ibiza, dancing on the beach at an after party, press the play button and enjoy !

Kings Of Tomorrow & Hot Since 82 X Julien Doré - Fall For Coco Caline (The Machine Reboot)

Happy new year dear Machine Boyz and Girlz !
I hope you all had a nice festive time :)
To kick off the new year, I thought my first reboot should be of something BIG, so I decided to go for @fatboyslim 's "Right Here Right Now", a huge classic and one of my alltime favorites !
Because the start of the year is also the time where we all make our new year resolutions, and protecting the planet should be one of our main concerns in 2025, I decided to use Greta Thunberg's speech in my Reboot. The man himself used it in a remix he did back in 2020, it really struck me and I absolutely loved it back then. So I decided to also use it in my Reboot.
The track that serves as intrumental base for this reboot is a recent BANGER from @argyofficial , in collaboration with @omikimusic and @sonofson-ofc , named "RITMO". I don't like the vocal of the original, but the instrumental was the perect fit for Right Here Right Now.
I reworked the track a bit by making a proper intro and outro for the DJs to be able to smoothly mix it, and also extended the main break to accomodate for Greta's speech as well as for a nice build up.

Fatboy Slim feat Greta Thunberg x Argy - Right Here Right Now (The Machine 2025 Reboot)

Dear Machine Boyz and Girlz !
Hope you have well started 2025 !
Here is my second reboot for this year. This one is about memories from my first Nightclub parties when I was just 18. The deejay in the local discotech's techno room was always playing "Qu'est-ce aue vous voulez" at peaktime, and the reaction from the clubbers was always amazing (pun intended ^^). This track, and especially the vocal, brings back so many memories. I had to at some point, give it my special treatment, exactly 25 years after it was released, in 2000 :D
So here it is, associated to @luismlive 's recent banger "Reflections" released on @extimatr records, @zafer_atabey 's label that releaases some of the best techno tracks out there <3

The two tracks work really well together, if you pay attention to details the way I do, you can hear a kind of FX that sounds like someone exhaling after having taken a deep breath while smoking, which obviously matches the context of the vocal extremely well.

It is yet another anthem to which I wanted to give my special treatment, the amazing  @oxia-official - Domino. I really wanted to give it a modern touch, something quite melodic, yet powerful. Melodic Techno is perfect for that. So I paired it with  @ddominiquejardin latest banger "Back for More".
To me, it's the perfect pairing, each track bringing something to each other, complementing each other just perfectly :D

Oxia x Dominique Jardin - Back for Domino (The Machine Reboot)

Dear Machine Boyz and Girlz,
I am particularly proud of this one !
It has been a VERY long time I have wanted to make a reboot using a track from @boris-brejcha As you can probably tell by my profile picture, I have a HUGE respect for his work and am an absolute fan, to the extent that until now I never dared using one of his tracks for a Reboot, because I have too much respect to destroy one of his track. 
But last weekend I had an idea, and his latest track "Bells of Eternity" seemd to be a perfect fit ton convey the message from Mark Renton's monologue in Trainspotting 2.
Boris Brejcha's sound has always struck me as very profound, deep, as if there was a powerful message behind it, a lot of emotions, amongst which, melancholy. So it made a lot of sense for me to use one of his track with this extremely moving and deep monologue.
Like the monologue, Bell of Eternity contains several dinstincts phases, movements as you'd say in classical music, so does the monologue, and both seems to be a perfect match.

Thanks for your patience, it has been busy on my side. You know, life :)
I didn't have much time to work on music lately, but here I am, back with a classic from @westbam_soundcloud realeased aaaaaaall the way back in 1989 ! A lot of you who listen probably weren't even born at the time lol
Anyway, I like the track and wanted to give it a bit of a refresh, a 2025 sound. So I used @youasidepiece 's recent track "Ménage à trois" which seemed to fit very well the spirit of "Hold me Back", while still preserving that Old School vibe from the Original.
It is a different style that what I usually do, let me know what you think !

Sorry for my recent silence, I've been very busy and didn't have much time for music lately.
But here I am, with my own version of @bobsinclar 's latest track/hit : Take it easy on me.
To be completely honest, I am not the biggest fan of the track itself (Which is why I wanted to make my own  (better) version of it.
I really like the darker turn he's taken on this one, but then, my question really is, why have kept the whistling ? Ok, sure, you've made "Love Generation", "World Hold On", the whistling has kind of become your signature over the past years, but the vibe was completely different. If you're going dark, underground, just own it and leave the f***ing whisteling out :P
So that's what I did, I just kept the catchy vocal, but took the awkward and creepy whisteling out.
Thanks to @alexnoceradj , @stonevanbrooken and Mindtone's remix of @iamsidekick 's "Deep Fear", I was able to give the track a huge Melodic Techno vibe that brings it into a different dimension.

Murch & Newest x Bob Sinclar - Take it easy on my Memories (The Machine Peaktime Reboot)

Dear Machine Boyz and Girlz !
Inspiration struck again, so no waiting one month this time :P
Listening to  @adambeyer  's set at Kappa Future Festival, the 1st track he played reminded me a lot of  @Meduzamusic 's "Upside Down" tune, a bit punchier though. Referring to  @artbatmusic 's new BANGER "Galaxy". What a powerful track !!!
So initially my thought was to make an "angrier" version of Upside Down, but then whil doing it, I somehow thought that it might be a better fit for  @edsheeran 's "Bad Habits".
And so this reboot was born.

I was listening to Mark Reeve's set for the latest Drumcode Live episode, and when I heard Obey to the Dancefloor, I immediatly had the idea to mash it up with "Voices in my Head", the idea being voices in your head giving you the order you to go party and obey to the Dancefloor rules.
Amelie Lens's Remix of "Voices in my Head" seemed to be the perfect fit for my idea, making those voices in your head haunting, hypnotizing.
I hope you'll feel what I attempted to convey when listening to the track and have this feeling of going crazy, while wanting to go partying without be able to fight against it :P

Dear Machine Boyz and Girlz !
Sometimes I do get Reboot requests, to which I sometimes indulge if I am inspired by the requested track :)
So today's reboot is one of them :D
I chose to pair @dontoliver 's hit "No idea" I was requested to give the Machine's treatment to, with @krypta_music 's new melodic techno banger called "Antimateria" to give it a Melodic yet dark vibe, while keeping the BPM the same as the original track.

Krypta x Don Toliver - No Idea Lua (The Machine 'Antimateria' Reboot)

Dear Machine Boyz and Girlz !
I was a bit in lack of inspiration those past few weeks, but last weekend, while driving and listening to the radio I discovered this new song from Kiddo "Live Forever". Who doesn't want to live forever ? (Maybe ask Queen this question ^^)
Anyway, I really liked it and immediatly thought it could benefit from getting my special Reboot treatment. And there it is, mashed up with Baset's latest banger "Fuel", which was released on Afterlife and played already a lot of times by Anyma.
Anyway, I really like the combo and I hope you will like it as well !

Baset x Kiddo - Live Forever (The Machine 'Foreva 28' Reboot)

Born and Raised in Grenoble - FR, now living in the Geneva Area - CH,
I have been passionate about Electronic music and especially Techno since I was a kid. 
This is why you will find a lot of older, some would say classic tracks in my Reboots. Because my Techno memories take me wayyyyy back, and I work a lot based on my emotions and memories :)

To me, doing Mash Ups is a discipline on its own amongst Music Production. I do take it seriously. It's not just quickly putting a vocal in the break of another track, not really caring if it fits well or not, just to be cool and trend on a currently hyped track.
I'd rather not work on a track I love than doing it just for the sake of doing it and actually not bringing any interesting new dimension to it or do something mediocre. 
That's why it sometimes takes me several months between wanting to rework a track I like and actually doing it. because I won't do it if it half-assed. I will wait until I have something that truly fits and makes a worthy Reboot.
My philosophy when it comes to producing my Reboots is to create something new, to take the original track out of its context/style and give it a brand new identity, something that could be a remix, or another original track altogether, not just 2 different tracks played on top of each other.
I was standing right next to Joachim Garraud, back in 2005, when he dropped for the very first time this UFO of a track that "The Egg Vs Love don't Let me go" was. He had finished it earlier that day and had kept it a secret. I remember all of our faces, staring at each other, our jaws had all dropped to the floor. The entire club was SHOCKED, stunned, amazed, in TRANCE.
This is the impact, the power, a good Mash Up can have. It can be even more powerful than an original track, because it will take a track people already know and love, with all the emotions and memories they have associated to it, into a new universe. And this is EXTREMELY powerful.
