To say “it’s like lightning in a bottle” is an over-used cliché, but it could not be more fitting when describing Kieran West & His Buffalo Band. Together, this ensemble powers through a genre blending array of finely crafted gems, leaving any participant hungry for more. Uniquely assembled with the finest hometown boys each a master of their instrument, all bringing their energies together to a backyard brawl of controlled chaos. They support, beautifully, the star that is Kieran West. With his baritone drawl lacing unique and memorable originals, and his charm and stage presence enough to captivate even the most apathetic concert goer. Woody Guthrie beget Bob Dylan beget Bright Eyes, with Keiran West taking their place. His soulful romps of near-protest, albeit relatable songs without sounding preachy (the song ‘Fuck the NRA’ ends with a cathartic belly cry ‘Put those fucking guns away’) are followed by sweet ditties of playful angst.
