This DJH and producer from Michigan has been mixing for about 4 years now. They Credit their Michigan friends over at Rave Station and Not That Records for encouraging and inspiring them to get into DJing. Having the opportunity and excuse to meet and see a lot of friends and have fun with music is one of the main reasons they DJ. They also said it gives them a good excuse to field test their own edits, bootlegs, and/or WIP tracks and see if they need to be tweaked or not. It's hard to decide on just one, they said. Since starting out in VR they've played at many venues and events both in the URL and IRL space with some notable places including Vibe Tribe, Static, Star Party, Equanimity, RNG, Arctfest, Rizumu, Coda, and Magfest. Some of their favorite genres to play out include Rave, breakbeat, Hardcore, and various forms of UK Hardcore. For today's mix, they wanted to serve y'all some higher bpm ravey songs since they've always taken inspiration from that particular type of sound. They specifically wanted to shout out their beloved Rave Generator 2, which if anyone is trying to get into producing go download that shit it's a free VST and it's honestly super goated. 

Outside of DJing, they like hanging out with friends, playing games, occasionally messing around in a DAW, and occasionally working on some computer shenanigans. They also said that before getting into the EDM scene via the Bemani scene back in 2019, they used to heavily listen to Video Game Music so their music background was always a little bit different than a lot of people. They also used to play the trumpet for 6 years and still have it tucked away in storage waiting to be played again one of these days. 

Also, their favorite non edm works are from Jake Kaufman and Yoko Shimamura. They didn't give me a specific track but they told me that they love all their work and have looked up to both of them since they were 10. 

While they don't have anything to promote at the moment, they're hoping to meet the goal of releasing a physical EP or Album. Good luck on that friend.
