	One half of reggae/ dancehall/ hip hop duo Afrikan Kartel, Image I is one of the new up and coming electrifying artist of the future. Born in Bridgeport, CT to Jamaican parents Image I grew up listening to artist like Dennis Brown, Bob Marley and the Wailers, Alton Ellis, Garnet Silk, Tenor Saw, Beres Hammond, Harry Belafonte, Ottis Redding and so on. Attending elementary and middle school Image was exposed to hip hop and dancehall listening to artist on the radio like Busta Rhymes, Buju Banton, The Lost Boys, The Fugees, Biggie Smalls, Wu- Tang Clan, Red Man, Onyx, Bounty Killa, Beenie Man, Spragga Benz, Tupac, Mad Lion, and Lady Saw. With his passion for hip hop and early exposure to reggae dancehall music Image I has labeled himself as the Rapper Reggae Singer. Blending witty hip hop verses with sweet Jamaican patios melodies Image has definitely created a style and lane of his own. With a diverse stage presence, heart like a lion demeanor and lyrical versatility Image I is definitely structured to be the complete package. Born a Native of the east coast with roots hailing from Kingston and St. Elizabeth Jamaica, Image I delivers originality flavor and style that most would call “the best of both worlds.” 
	In 2003 while attending high school in Atlanta Georgia, Image was introduced to hip hop/ reggae artist and soon to become group member S.Dot. Who recently moved from Philly but who’s parents were also Jamaican. With in little and no time and already having a connection culturally, the two quickly became bredrins and started collaborating in the studio every day after school. Spending the remainder of their high school years recording and showcasing their talent at local open mic venues as “Afrikan Kartel .”
 In 2008 Image I advanced his engineering skills by received a Music Production Engineering Certificate from The Omni Tech Institute of Atlanta ,GA. There he obtained the key essential knowledge and skills needed to becoming a recording engineer, but also broadening his marketability not just only categorizing him as an artist. 
	Early 2009 Image I a long side partner S.Dot was featured on the Royal Tribe reggae hip-hop collaboration album entitled “Regime Change.” With melodic dancehall tracks like “Moral of the Story”, “Change Has Come”, and “Chant Dem Down” a hardcore bassie reggae hip-hop track with a revolutionary message addressing the people to stay focused, stand firm, and chant down the oppressor. 
Image is now currently working on a group album entitled “Afrikan Kartel” which is to be released later this year and his solo debut album entitled “World Is A Jungle” which is dated for 2010. With a diverse catalog of production ranging from Ras Kaya of Shanty Life Music, Dj Supa Kush of Royal Tribe , Producer Red of Redd Hott Ent., and Ghostman of Ghostman Productions.
