When I first heard this piece by Hang Massive I instantly heard subtle trap grooves flowing in and around their beautiful Hand Pan melodies. This was mid-winter 2021 Melbourne lockdown. In my morning mycelium walks, the sun kisses my skin and blesses me with its warmth.

Music bloomed hope in me for the Sun's Rays to once again shine on humanity as it passed through its darkest passage of the pandemic. And so it seems fitting now as we move on beyond the most challenging parts of the pandemic, for this sunlight to shine for you with its release.

Sol is the fourth offering of the Kuya Sessions. Cura led us on a shamanic journey of body-centered awareness. Our journey continued in Samadhi, unifying individual and universal consciousness. Akasha brought us to exquisitely ethereal realms and now Sol carefully weaves the terrestrial and celestial sounds of our ancient solar origin as children of the sun. 

“Igniting the Sacred” beckons us to venture beyond the familiar world of illusion. In preparation for the great journey ahead, the soothing sound of vocalist Meagan Chandler and Poranguí ask the benevolent guardian Spirits to open the roads and grant us safe passage.   

Gently purified in the celestial flames of truth, the imaginal cells of our awareness emerge from the primordial sound of “Liminal Sun” to reconnect with the original solar pulse of all creation.  Ancestral Nahuatl invocations carry us across the timeless song lines to meet our heart’s most sacred essence.  

As we emerge in “The Great Turning”, we are embraced by the rolling thunder of our majestic blue home amidst the vast cosmos.  Through the dark side of the Sol, we return more whole, awakening to the blessings of the Waters with an original prayer song for the Afro-Brazilian goddess of the sea, Iemanja, and a morning water prayer song from Native American elder, Chief Delbert “Blackfox” Pomani of the Hunkpapa Lakota.

Embedded within the sonic signature of the world’s oldest musical lineages and enhanced with field recordings and samples from across the globe, Kuya Sessions: Sol is best experienced in its Journey Mix format, where the boundaries between the three movements are as ephemeral as the voyage itself. In preparation for embarking on this ritualistic path, one is invited to create an environment for inner exploration with the help of a quiet and dark room, headphones, an eye mask, and an intention of healing and discovery. 

Sol draws upon a grounding array of ancient instruments, field recordings, indigenous invocations, and therapeutic musical stylings while showcasing Poranguí and Liquid Bloom’s alchemical, multi-dimensional sound. Distilled from the intention of providing listeners a path toward healing and a safe space from which to embark on that odyssey, Kuya Sessions: Sol will continue to reveal itself with each subsequent visit for all who desire its therapeutic guidance. 

The Kuya Sessions were created by Poranguí and Amani Friend (Liquid Bloom) in support of emerging paradigm-shifting medicine and psychedelic-assisted therapeutics to help people transform their lives into lives they love. 09 Earth Breath

When we dance the third eye we intend to have a dance of in-sight so we begin by formulating a question around something in our life that we are seeking more clarity on. As we breathe and dance into the third eye we open into a no-mind state, a silent peaceful place. Our higher intuitive mind can be heard when the mental chatter ceases, so that is why we focus on a no-mind state for the dance.

The focus of the third eye dance is to integrate a deeper aware-ness of the life issues and patterns in all of the chakras. It is a dance of integration rather than purification. It is a dance to open up to the new evolutionary ways of being. We dance to gain clarity and insight, as cultivating the third eye aligns us to divine mind and higher consciousness.

Imagika was born & raised in LA, & is based in LA & Hawaii.  She has played everything from underground gatherings, billionaire private parties, celebrity hot-spots, club residencies, festivals, large-scale Hollywood events, & 5-star resorts to sacred sites & special events all over the world.  She has played Coachella Music Festival 5x, Lighting in a Bottle 4x, Envision Festival 3x, the Rainbow Serpent Festival in Australia, Electric Picnic Festival in Ireland, Alchemeyez conference in Hawaii 1 & 2, Symbiosis Total Eclipse Gathering, & the Great Convergence Gathering during Winter Solstice 2012 in Egypt,  Imagika has also played & performed in various camps (Roots Society, Fractal-Nation, Sacred Spaces, Entheon, Hooka-dome) at Burning Man through the years since 1999. 



She is currently one of the resident DJs at the esteemed Kalani - the birthplace of the modern ecstatic dance movement where she is also a part of Kalani's dance council & music committee, & ambassador.  She has also played at Ecstatic Dance LA for many years. 



She Djs all over Hawaii regularly & also curates & produces special events from time to time.  She periodically returns to Los Angeles, & California to Dj special events.

Imagika Om has collaborated with countless artists & performers through her career to co-create innovative, immersive experiences that integrate music, dance, performance, visuals, technology & spirituality, to merge the exotic & sacred with the modern, bringing the ancient & future into the now.

Our events are a sanctuary for self-expression, where every individual is encouraged to embrace their full spectrum of being. Through immersive experiences, artistry & connection, we craft spaces that ignite wonder, deepen presence & celebrate the magic of human expression.


  Imagika has loved music & dance since she can remember, beginning her relationship with music as a dance performer & performance ritual producer in 1999.  Prompted by the desire to create a new way to dance & relate to music that was different than what was being played at the time, she created something that didn’t exist - remixing & producing music for her performances to further customize the experience.  Her reality expanded to producing & performing with groups such as Lucent Dossier, Dream Circus, Ayaserpent, Auracle, & Urban Gypsy.   She co-produced the score for "Isis Vision" with the Human Experience for a half hour multi-media performance at Burning Man at the Temple.  She also co-produced "Maat Magic" for Lucent Dossier Experience's performance at Coachella's main stage, & produced "Breathe your Dreams to Life" which was performed by Lucent Dossier for the Dali Lama's 80th birthday celebration with an audience of 10,000 people. 



She delighted downtown LA as resident DJ at the famed Edison for the Lucent Dossier's nights, that drew celebrities & underground fans alike, creating & curating exotic & surreal musical soundtracks for 2 years every week.  With Lucent Dossier, she also brought her passion to venues ranging from the Liberty Theatre in NYC's Times Square, to a Venetian Palace on the Grand Canal in Italy for Elon Musk for his 40th birthday, back before things got complicated with the world.  



Her performance background is reflected in her musical style, & is heard in her ability to create compelling, unique, atmospheric soundscapes for performances, environments,  & special events.  



She released her classic "Cosmic Sutras" album through Merkaba Music, bringing forth tracks that are both earthy & ethereal, filled with primal beats & bass, mystical mantras, & atmospheric layers sparking cosmic remembrance. 



Over the years, she has also explored other genres with her own unique style, such as bellydance beats, latin grooves, & Goddess pop in her singles. She continues to dive deep, exploring new sounds in her current works in progress & live improvisations.

Apart from her music, Imagika was initiated into the Sri Vidya Shakti Tantra path in India by Sri Amritananda natha Saraswati of Devipuram in 2012 & has been deep in this lineage since then with other teachers & disciples in this path such as the late Psalm Isadora, Nisha Bhairavi, & Maa Uma-Parvathi Natha.  Imagika is authorized to teach Sri Vidya with her teacher's blessing.  She is also an initiated Priestess of the 13 Moon Oracle with Ariel Spillsbury, as well as a certified spiritual counselor with the Dolphin Star Temple Mystery School lineage. 



She has been blessed to visit & study with many other great female spiritual leaders & teachers around the world throughout her life, such as the High Priestess of Bali, Ida Resi Alit, & has also studied drumming with Miranda Rondeau & Layne Redmond who wrote "When Women were Drummers.”

Based on her spiritual sadhana, Imagika has created unique sacred dance, movement journeys & meditations.  She continues to share her knowledge at various workshops at festivals, temples, & retreats around the world.  Over the years she has helped many with their spiritual & musical evolution. She has been a music mentor & Ableton teacher as well as a spiritual guide through her various esoteric traditions.

Imagika devotes her life to connecting with the harmonic frequencies of space-time dimensions through the sacred & creative arts of music, meditation, dance, writing, poetry, nature immersions & cultivating life-art love magick every day.



She shares her life & love with her husband, the visionary artist, Vajra,  co-creating new ways to share these multi-dimensional multi-media transmissions with the world.
