Today our international team will be talking about goal 1: end poverty in all its forms everywhere. First of all, we are going to connect with the Independent Girls from Poland, who are going to talk about undeveloped countries, like Afghanistan, which suffer from extreme poverty. After that, Giulia and Sara, The Opposite Girls from Italy are going to interview a doctor working for an association “Article 32” which helps people in need in Cremona. And finally, to finish with this topic, the The Fire from France are going to talk about the poverty in a developed country which is France.

GOAL 1: NO POVERTY

Today our international team will be talking about goal 11: make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable.The first team to participate are Totally Spies, from France. They are going to discuss the use of public transport in cities. The next team, Astroworld from Italy, attended a conference about the global goals and are going to interview the person who gave the lecture focusing on urban regeneration. After that, Flexers Team, Italy, are going to interview a person in Cremona who has an electric car. Finally, our Irish team, Leprechauns, are going to share with us their research about how the government can improve earthquake resistant structures.

GOAL 11: SUSTAINABLE CITIES AND COMMUNITIES

This time our international team will be discussing goal 7: ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all.
First, we are going to listen to two Polish students called Piotr and Wiktor, Peter’s Burgers, telling us how atomic energy works, their advantages and disadvantages and also the different types of radioactive wastes. After that, we are going to listen to Mike and George, two Greek students who will tell us about the energy in their island (which is very polluted) and they will come up with some proposals to deal with pollution there. Finally, we are going to listen to our French team, French Baguette, made up by Jean, Gabin and Arthur, from France, who will talk about clean energy and more specifically about geothermal and solar energy.

GOAL 7: RENEWABLE ENERGY
