I was hired to be a part of something special in Slocan City on March 4th 2023. 
Something I’d never done as a dj before.
 Florrie Wood had a vision of creating a grief dance. A night of emotional dance music to honour grief, sorrow, heartbreak and pain. To feel all of it and move through or with it.  

This took place at the Maker’s Space in downtown Slocan in the early evening and was well attended.  There is some talk of creating another one of these events in April.

This is the live radio shortened version of that evening.

Right then, here's the second of our two DJ sets from Glastonbury 2023 - By way of contrast to Thursday's Set 1, (and also in contrast to our Friday set in '22, which was as mellow as the vibe in the bar), On this Friday the place was completely packed (yay!), the booze was going down fast and people were in a seriously up-for it mood already, so our planned "Gentle wake-up" set suddenly got a lot more boisterous... ahem.
(Note that a fair chunk of this set had to be re-recorded after the festival, thanks to a power issue that fucked up the first 30 mins, and a headphone monitor that refused to er... monitor anything much, So it goes. Sure you don't mind, eh?)

Huge thanks as always to the lovely Cornish management & crew for having us, and to everyone that popped by for a drink and a boogie, it was great to see you!
