Created in 2009, The Imaginary Friends combines technology and music in a pleasant and unforgettable performance. With the goal of bringing live performance to environments in which bands are not usually allowed to play, The imaginary Friend connects live music and the audience but still allows for people to talk and interact having the live performance as background ambiance music.

Made in Brazil, upgraded in the US, refurbished in Germany and recycled in Switzerland. Chico Bruno have been travelling the world as a multimedia producer and one man band performer for the last 10 years. The Imaginary Friends Band was created to expand the possibilities of tones and instruments a single player can perform live. Bruno combines over 20 years of academic background with direct influences of his previous projects and bands of Brazilian Bossa Nova (MPB Jazz | Brasilia, BRA), American Big Jazz Band ( Big Bad Vodoo Daddy | Eugene OR, USA), German Tribal House( Nom@ds | Berlin, Germany) and Latin Ska ( The Lain Mother Funkers | Kiel, Germany).
The mixture of electronic beats, delayed guitars and harmonised vocals promote a unique music ambience that can escalate to what he likes to call PARTY MODE.
The imaginary Friends production office is currently in Zurich where the band perform in Lounge Bar, Piano Bars, Hotels, Bier Garten, Open Air, Private and Corporate events.   
The current format of the performance allows the musician to promote live music in spaces once reserved for Dj's and different interpretations and arrangements from legends such as Frank Sinatra ( Fly me to the Moon),  Michael Jackson (Billie Jean), Louis Armstrong ( What a Wonderful World), Bob Marley ( Stir it Up), João Gilberto ( Água de Beber),  among others.
