Regeringens aftale med Rwanda minder næsten om en fupmail fra Nigeria: Hvis du bare lige begynder med at overføre 21 mio. kr. til en afrikansk konto, så vil din lykke være gjort. Aftalen er nemlig kun en hensigtserklæring, og Rwanda forpligter sig ikke engang til at ville oprette modtagelseslejre for asylansøgere fra Danmark. Ikke desto mindre er aftalen et taktisk trumfkort for udlændingeminister Mattias Tesfaye: Endnu engang har han sat Venstre og de Konservative skakmat i den hjemlige udlændingepolitik, og frem mod næste valg kan regeringen i det mindste hævde at arbejde for at indfri et af Socialdemokratiets mest markante valgløfter. Også i den fortsatte corona-ballade er det lykkedes for regeringen at tæmme oppositionen: De borgerlige partier har fået ret – og fået rykket genåbningen en anelse frem - til gengæld har statsminister Mester Frederiksen fået fred. Sågar samtidig med at borgerkrigen er brudt ud i flammer i blå blok: Venstres rottweiler Claus Hjort Frederiksen er gået hårdt til angreb på sin tidligere høvding Lars Løkke Rasmussen. Thomas Qvortrup stiller spørgsmålene. Politisk kommentator Lars Trier Mogensen har svarene.
