Can't Sleep is about my struggles with insomnia since I was a little kid. The beginning of the song is quite intense, it is supposed to portray how I think at night and why I can't sleep.

Affection deals with my love language, words of affirmation. I have a hard time telling myself that it's okay and that people don't hate me, so I like it when other people tell me tat. In one of my relationships they didn't pay attention to my love language and it just hurt me a lot. Not hearing "love you bye" at the end of a phone call kills me.

Testimony is probably my favorite song in the EP. The song is about how I wasn't doing well in a relationship and I was told so many times to get out of it, but I just couldn't because my anxiety was eating me up and telling me I'd never find someone else if I did break up with them. I lost some good friendships because I couldn't make up my mind on what I wanted to do.

Wasn't True is the most vulnerable song in the EP for sure. This song is a story about how my first girlfriend spread lies about me throughout the school because she was mad I broke up with her. Everyone at my school was disgusted by me for something I didn't do and it made my mental health so so so bad. This is where my severe anxiety all started was from this ex and what she did to me. Her friends texted me telling me I was a terrible person and I could never share my side of the story, or whenever I would no one would listen. She put me in such a dark place, I almost took my life. I could go on and on about this story, but it's finally time for me to put this trauma behind me and that's what I'm trying to do with this song, move on and look forward, because she shouldn't get to still hurt me 4 years later.

Bad Thoughts was the first song I worked on after Therapy was released. I wanted to drop a single from the upcoming album and I'm really excited about this song. I hope you enjoy the song, it was nice to share my mind.
