This is my (hometown) set from this wonderful all day party at invisible Wind Factory in Liverpool. This is a live set (warts and all!), where I played in the main room after Gustin, and before Hernan Cattaneo. the crowd had started partying in the day time outside, and then came inside, so it was time to take the energy levels up!

Well hello and welcome back! Good to see you here on the Il Modo progcast, where once again we do the digging and you do the listening, to exclusive DJ mixes all around Planet Prog! 

For the third week running we return to the Helios VIP Stage of DSCNNCT Festival, that ran on the 1st July this year. Continuing on from Brian Gravel's opener and Leah Marie's floor filler, we shine the spotlight on a DJ whose name will be on everyone's lips before too long. Fresh new talent  from the Anjuna crew, make some noise for Mia Aurora! 

Mia Aurora is a London-based Melodic House and Techno DJ/Producer. Drawing on influences from labels including Afterlife, Anjunadeep and Bedrock, Mia’s DJ sets range from melody driven house and electronica to darker, techno influenced releases.

Mia began her musical journey from an early age, becoming proficient in guitar and piano as well as songwriting and producing. In 2019, she graduated from the Abbey Road Institute following her studies in Music Production and Sound Engineering. 

During her time there, Mia engineered records with artists including Moses Boyd, Poppy Ajuda and Mogli as well as working alongside industry leading producers and engineers.

Quickly finding her sound in the electronic world, Mia has seen a rapid ascent up the DJ ranks, playing at iconic venues across London including Printworks, Fabric, Phonox and Egg London. She’s played events for London-based electronic label Anjunadeep, as well as supporting Yotto, Guy J, Adana Twins and Jody Wisternoff.

Kicking off 2022, Mia has taken her sound global, already playing DJ sets in Dubai and Tel Aviv, with more international shows to come later in the year including Albania, Ibiza and a headlining India tour too....

Dave Seaman is one of the original movers and shakers of the UK house movement. He has been DJing for over 25 years playing in over 70 countries around the world. He was the first editor of the clubbers bible, Mixmag, and has remixed and produced for everybody from U2 to Kylie and David Bowie to the Pet Shop Boys. He has also done over 20 mix compilations for the likes of Global Underground, Renaissance & Radio 1's Essential Mix and also been the main man behind the independent dance music labels, Stress Records,Audio Therapy and now his new imprint, Selador Recordings. Nick Warren became one of the first so-called "superstar DJs" in the mid-to-late '90s, holding down a high-profile residency at Cream in England, touring around the world, and appearing on several DJ mix albums before they became commonplace. Though he spun an eclectic array of dance styles in the late '80s and early '90s, he eventually championed the late-'90s trance sound of labels like Hooj Choons and joined the ranks of other superstar DJs like Sasha and Tall Paul. 

Nick Warren is still at the top of his game and showcasing why he is still standing as a giant within electronic music, championing a driving percussive sound and soaring musicality. Tune in and enjoy this journey!

music daily to stimulate his inspiration
when designing his collections,
this has grown his interest in music
production.

Through his DJ sets and his summer
livestream show on Youtube, he  provides
a music journey to his global community.
His mixing skills switch from genres
with ease and seamless transitions.
The quality of his selection, together
a strong influence by 90’s music creates
fresh live mashups.

Thanks to his lifelong friendships, who
in turn are successful artist in the music
scene, he has access to unreleased 
material and support for its continuous 
development.

In 2022 he decided to debut as 
a producer and release his first 
single with Vision Records of 
which he is a founder with the 
support of ADA Music.

His latest  international DJ 
experience was accompanying 
producer Henry Saiz on his tour 
of Argentina opening his events.
