In 2021, three different labels from three different countries with three different approaches come together in order to give you one breathtaking series of releases called “Encounter”. Our project includes Hanzom Music from Germany, Sine Function Music from Switzerland as well as T3K Recordings from Planet Mars. The main purpose of our project is to unite brilliant minds instead of inciting them to compete against each other or just searching for the next big advantage. We combine unique music, sophisticated styles and individual skills from outstanding artists. Above all that, the released content is of remarkable quality and we do not only thrive to always be one step ahead but also to be the leading labels in terms of creativity and production.

The Australian DnB scene is on fire right now with acts like Ekko & Sidetrack, Blaine Stranger, V O E and Solomon France (FKA SØL) all regularly tearing down the dance and producing flames in the studio. What’s more all of these awe-inspiring artists are proudly flying the flag for Viper Recordings. To further showcase their talents we are pulling together the Aus team to all feature on the ‘Wizards Of Aus EP’

Pulling together the final package as part of the ‘Wizards of Aus’ EP, Ekko & Sidetrack offer up ‘Banish’, another addition to a weighty history as part of the Viper Recordings camp. A duo who can claim a range of tastemaker support - from UKF to DJ ShockOne - their two of the most sought after names within the Australian drum & bass microcosm, with their music reaching an obviously worldwide audience. They’re the perfect duo to help represent their countries' stake within the genre and ‘Banish’ leads this charge. Waves of soaring synthesis carpet the intro, before dropping into lunging bass pads. Ekko & Sidetrack add a dance floor smasher to the track list with ‘Banish’, leading you away from Australia's festival season and into their club spaces. Where names like Ekko & Sidetrack reign supreme.

For the opening set of the night we had label manager Ant TC1 warming up early doors ahead of Doc Scott and Goldie, here's the first of the 3 recordings that we are uploading from this memorable mid-summer event.  It was a special night in June of this year with a sold out crowd of 800+ people crammed into Xoyo's upstairs room (from pretty much before the very first needle was placed on the record until going past the nights extended close).  Again a big thanks to Benji B for inviting us down to take over the room.

With the world's biggest Drum & Bass Festival approaching in July - Let It Roll Open Air 2016 - Viper Recordings are honoured to be hosting the Factory Stage for the Saturday of the three day event.

Viper artists: Smooth, InsideInfo, Mob Tactics, and Trei will all be representing the label at the festival, as well as on this special 'Viper Goes To Let It Roll' EP, featuring four brand new, previously unreleased tracks geared straight at the festival crowd.

Starting off the EP, Smooth has delivered the aptly titled 'Let It Roll'. A set-opener if there ever was one, with thunderous drums on the intro and a trademark Smooth build to a drop that will kickstart any rave, festival, or club night into high-gear. Up next, InsideInfo drops 'Up2U', a glitchy atmospheric track with InsideInfo's unmistakable sound. Mob Tactics turn up the energy again with 'Widowmaker', a head-nodding tech banger that takes no prisoners.. or spouses, as the case may be. Trei rounds off the EP with style on 'Mirage'. With a haunting cinematic intro, 'Mirage' quickly turns into a rolling banger to bring the EP to a close.
