A River Like You

It's 50 years ago  today since we lost our Dad. He was a shipyard worker in Sunderland and part time firefighter during the Second World War.  War injuries ended  his local dancing reputation as 'The Charleston Kid'.
I put together this little tune called 'Joe's Jig' in his memory. I hope it set his feet tapping!

Based in NE England Jim and Marilyn Gibson are a husband and wife duo who play acoustic guitar, electric bass and, more recently, Celtic harps. Also incorporating vocal harmonies they perform an eclectic mix of standards, folk songs,  interpretations of varied material from artists they admire, and a growing repertoire of their own original material.
