a cover with a combination of digital cheats and traditional recording techniques.

L.E.S. Artistes (Santigold cover)

Recorded in garage band on my MacBook. I used Squier jazzmaster and a bass Vi. The drums were recorded in little bits on a keyboard using the garage band midi patches. Then a lot of coping and pasting and duplicating tracks and coping and pasting those. Vocals were done in one take and in spite of some of the sour notes I really like how comfortable I sounded most of the time. I used a cad equitek 100-2 for the most of the vocals and the MacBook built in mic for a couple harmonies.
