As we begin to rollout choice mixes from the past two events, we're starting with Malzof aka Julie Malice.  Their incredible mix is a subtle yet powerful journey through the crystallized landscape that they clearly impart in this ambient playground.  Both deep and enlightening, it is a picturesque first foray into Imbue's nuanced tone; one that strikes the right notes of the heart while also conveying meaningful insight.

Inspired by synesthesia and the narrative arcs of sound, Julie Malice produces original artwork, video and animation to create live visuals. Julie Malice is a multimedia artist, VJ, DJ and educator and has been organizing youth programs and creative endeavors for the past 13 years in Pittsburgh. They work across digital media, paint, installation, performance, sound and audience interaction with a focus on building community, audio-visual experiences, speaking truth, and imagining new landscapes.

This @DarkScienceElectro label highlight is for legendary Dutch record label @Clone-nl - There is legitimately nothing that I could even say about the label that hasn't already been said about this 31-year-old mainstay. They have released some of the most important music in Electro music and their represses have made timeless music available to new generations of music lovers. We are forever indebted to Serge for all his hard work since starting the label in 1991. There cannot be a history of Electro without covering the major contributions of this Dutch imprint. Clone's impact reaches beyond just Electro music into Dub, Techno, IDM, House, and more. For the purposes of this mix, you could guess that my target was the more Electro-centric cuts from the discography.

k_schreiber is a London based DJ and producer with a passion for eclectic electronics: electro, techno, IDM, acid and house

Nurtured on a diet of soul, funk and hip hop, his musical horizons were broadened by John Peel and Gilles Peterson leading to a vinyl obsession that persists to this day.
Having earned his stripes as a DJ and promoter, it was only a matter of time before his love of moving the crowd paved the way for a natural progression into music making.
Detroit, Chicago & Berlin are huge influences in his techno and electro productions, with the melodic and deep side of house reserved for his Sarru Project alias.
