Next up on Vapour Recordings we have a massive EP from the founder of onesixtwo recordings - Tripswitch.

Nick Brennan joins Vapour Recordings for his first solo outing with the label with this magnificent moody and emotive track - Dose. This track was brought to our attention late last year and it was one we just had to have for the label. Full of lush chords, a warm moody baseline, simple and memorable synth line and a brilliant overall feel to it. This track has been a statement track in Kasey Taylor's sets recently.

On remix duties we have many people that need zero introduction. First up we have Argentinian legend Hernan Cattaneo who is one of the labels biggest supporters returning to Vapour again for the 3rd time, this time teaming back up with Marcelo Vasami who also returns to the label. This powerhouse duo deliver an uplifting peak time take on the original mix which rocks the big rooms.

And also on remix duties we have Columbian powerhouse and legend of a DJ in Kamilo Sanclemente who teams up with Brazilian rising star André Moret. These two also deliver a stunning version of the original mix making this package irresistible.

Nea Marin is one of the five monikers that Rhadoo is using as a producer, each one expanding,  with its own particularities and reasons, any possible borders of electronic music. “Nisipari” opens the second CD of Telurian and one has to know the meaning of the title in order to begin to understand the innovative sound of this track, and that’s not an easy thing since the word itself is untranslatable but nonetheless the root word is “nisip” which translates as “sand”, hence the ubiquitous and everflowing grainy sound of the track. On top of this, there is a half breakbeat, an Interstellar-like noise and a hypnotic sinth – that’s all the artist needs to deliver a masterpiece of experimental electronic music made in Romania.

Based in Miami, Florida, Imbue consists of guitarist Eduardo Alvarez, pianist Ignacio Vallejo, and audio engineer Maximiliano Cortes. These three childhood friends have created an interpretation of electronic music with original instrumentation superimposed over drum machine grooves, and their live performance features a hybrid of live electric guitar and synthesizer improvisation over a continuous vinyl and digital DJ set.

The trio launched their self-titled label in 2017 with their vinyl-only debut, “Imbue” [IMB001]. Since then seven official EPs have been released under that imprint, and three of their vinyl EP’s reached #1 on the Decks.de and Deejay.de charts. The success of these records helped them land features on the labels Telum [TELUM006], Retrospect [RETRO003], SISU [SISU01 & SISU02], Personality Disorder [PDM015 & PDM016], and Lisa’s Kickback [LKB003], amongst others.

Imbue has headlined shows in Miami, Atlanta, Portland and the Dominican Republic, and has opened for the likes of Traumer, Gene on Earth, Shonky, Raresh, Alci, Sepp & Nu Zau, SIT and more, both in Miami and in Berlin’s Club der Visionaere.
