„pan dora“ is based on Bernhard Weiss’ music for the butoh-performance „PanD’orA - Shades of Hope“ by DaniMayu and her Company MayuKan. Sounds and fragments of the original soundtrack are condensed into an independent track. „pan dora“ consists exclusively of partially heavily processed recordings of acoustic instruments (gongs, kamalen goni, windchimes, cymbals and tibetan singing bowls) and field recordings.

The performance was to have taken place in Vienna in early November 2020, but had to be cancelled and postponed indefinitely due to a lockdown.

About the piece „PanD’orA - Shades of Hope“:

After 20 years of being a butoh performer and choreographer, DaniMayu revived her Company MayuKan in order to create her new piece „PanD'orA - Shades of Hope“. In her new production Dani Mayu is honouring her body of work by incorporating quotes from over 30 pieces of hers.

Starting from Pandora's Box, the members of the Company show different aspects of hope in the tension between the general positive connotation of today and in the sense of Friedrich Nietzsche, who in „Human, All too Human“ describes hope as the worst of all evils.

[BR-043] V/A - RIGOR MORTIS (pt.1) delivers a harsh soundscape filled with a captivating array of dark, varied noises from the depths. It begins with a slow descent, pulling you in until time seems to slip away. As the trip unfolds it tests your patience, driving tension to the edge, periodically shifting and controlling the overall mood. The interplay of muffled, strange, and surreal sonic textures draws you further into darkness. The experience feels as if you're being torn from reality, drifting into the unknown, caught in a blurred dream where everything around either contracts or expands. Piercing sounds occasionally pull you back to reality, or for some, cast you into a void perhaps even a state of expanded consciousness.

“ Fusion 13 “ is my music composition which is a Rondo in 3 parts, ABA. A is Neo-classic; B is aleatoric - there was some improvisation. A was composed for alto sax, tenor sax, bass clarinet and trombone.
 B was for vibraphone and electronic effects via ReasonRecord. The photo was made by Gabriel Malendez.

Robert Sipos, born 1974, first met techno at the end of the 90s; initially visited clubs, parties, absorbed the music and listened. Almost became a second home to the 1999 opening Supersonic Technikum, and related techno events. Those important and noteworthy for his professional life were DJ Grega, who unwittingly pointed the way towards techno, and Mixer Smith, who gave the first major technical equipment. Noisesculptor is unbroken since its inception, representative of this line which is not exactly popular: techno primarily within industrial and dark line moving - doggedly trying to stay underground, as far as possible these days... In addition to mixing the music, editing really is what fascinated him, looking and researching new sound. His music is both modern and ancient: from the era when music was born instinct, sounds, feelings... Several publishers discussed - and discuss today. In 2011, Robert appeared on Mixer Smith's tel joint debut album, titled "General Effect", which is now the well-known not only in Europe but also in many countries of the world (Japan, USA), and appeared on the popular www.audioexit.com label. Subsequently began to draw attention to it in the domestic and international trade: the requests were mixes, radio shows. His first solo album (Structures) marked with the names of Exigent (Perlei Imre) was released on Paradise Gate Records. On the European level, he is well known as a contributor / radio of the Art Style: Techno - Underground Techno magazine. His work has been featured on various compilation discs, and well-known DJs and producers like to use them for their mixes.

Insane Tempus by ROBotron starts with a rhythmic pulse reminiscent of a beating heart, gradually evolving into intricate, swirling rhythms and a rich tapestry of sounds. Initially, it feels restrained, but soon the atmosphere expands as if delivering a message from the depths of a distant galaxy. Persistent and, at times, ominously haunting, the sonic lines wrap around you sometimes intensifying, sometimes receding leaving behind a lingering tension and faint echoes reverberating through an infinite expanse. The soundscape is utterly captivating, suspended in a vast, weightless dimension, expanding and contracting with a mesmerizing cadence. It comes alive, shifting and morphing crackling, whispering, humming, and shimmering through ever-changing tonal layers. Like an entity of stardust coursing through the veins of a galaxy, it evokes a surreal and immersive experience that lingers long after the final sound fades.
