In Bits' music is dreamy and introspective, but retaining hopefullness, with poppy hooks and warm textures, inspired by 80s shoegaze and 70s pop and psychedelia.

Australian pairing Somersault and It Bends combine this May to deliver ‘Back Again’ on Madtech Records.
Melbourne-based DJ and producer Somersault emerged onto the scene in 2019, making his mark as an artist on the up with releases via the likes of Blind Vision, Rawsome and Madtech Records and gaining support from artists including Archie Hamilton, Prunk, Ben Rau and DJOKO. A regular at Australia’s most notable nights and venues including Revolver Upstairs, S.A.S.H. and Goodbar, his take on house music has welcomed explorations into various pockets of the genre to date, and this is on display once again here as he combines with vocalist, It Bends. Born in Wollongong, but now based in Mexico City, the singer, songwriter and producer’s previous material falls right across the electronic spectrum, and here the pairing combine for the very first time this May to deliver the classy ‘Back Again’ on Madtech records.
Offering two alternative versions of ‘Back Again’, the ‘Sparkling Version’ unveils a production drenched in early UK garage and house influences, most notably via two-step drum arrangements and snaking basslines at the heart of the track, whilst the ‘Red Version’ pairs things back slightly to deliver a blossoming journey guided by rich bass, resonant chords and It Bends’ soulful yet delicate vocals.
