I recorded this worship and prayer moment after hearing our pastor teach though James chapter 5 this morning! I was struck by the beauty of the Father's patience in my life and I wanted to bring Him an offering of awe at His patience today... His Patience is not only fruit of His presence, but it is also our salvation...

May I encourage you to open a bible up to James 5:7-12, or to look that passage up online as you listen to this?

Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains. You also, be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand. Do not grumble against one another, brothers, so that you may not be judged; behold, the Judge is standing at the door. As an example of suffering and patience, brothers, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. Behold, we consider those blessed who remained steadfast. A confession and a prayer about finding what I desire in the Father. Coming to know that my dad on earth is imperfect, but my Father in heaven is perfect. In love, discipline, mercy, intimacy, and in every way. I am imperfect. That is shown in my longing for perfect from the imperfect. Thank you Father in heaven for this lesson tonight. Teach me to cling only to Christ, for no other reason except to cling to Christ.

This playlist contains my first ever released EP project entitled "Turning My Eyes". This project is about what happens to people and their relationships when unholy broken sinners turn their eyes to a holy perfect God. This happens because of Christ and the cross. WHO Christ was, and WHAT he DID made all the difference, holiness and freedom and true love and intimacy are breaking out here on earth now through the presence of Christ, his very Holy Spirit living among the people of God! 

My prayer is that you will find the Father who is full of love, mercy, and kindness at the end of yourself, at the cross, in Jesus Christ. Here you will know who you REALLY are and how you've been created to TRULY live!

06 I've Been Waiting All My Life

This is a freestyle I recorded tonight after recording in the afternoon an instrumental track for a friend. I pulled all the gear out and had a blast today! I'm so excited for the finished work. This little song came out of reflecting on the words of the spoken word I was producing behind. The words talked about Jesus and what he suffered and endured to be accepted. I feel like and see so many struggling for love and acceptance, and not believing that they are loved by God, and pushing out His Father love for lesser loves. This song is about that, and about receiving the Fathers love instead of trying to find it in 'these women'.

Never Met a Father - Bread & Wine Spontaneous worship moment

Good evening all!

This song is one of my favourites off of Bethel's latest Have it All album! This is my own take on it, stripped down to the piano and vocals. 

There are so many fatherless people in our day and age. Everywhere I see so many people and hearts crying out to be defined by something greater than themselves, to give them the purpose and life and love they are desperate for. Jesus CAME to make us SONS AND DAUGHTERS of the true living God, who our brother Jesus revealed to be best known as FATHER. This truth is taking over my heart in new ways every day. Praying that the prodigals come home, that every place of fear in our hearts be transformed by the beauty of God's grace, that sonship would be poured out on this generation like never before (Romans 8, Galatians 4:16, 1 John).

Hey everyone!

I thought I would try something a little different, and share some thoughts on worship and where the Lord has been challenging me and building me up as a worshipper, both in the context of church and in the everyday moment to moment. I thought it would be cool to try and share some of my thoughts and to hear back from other people about what they think!
