Pinerolo is a restaurant in Oslo. I was commissioned by the owners to compile and mix three mixtapes. Their directives were rather vague, lending me an opportunity to pick from any genre, not care too much about how commercial the tracks were and just create an eclectic but cohesive compilation that would contribute to the relaxed vibe at Pinerolo. This is what I did.

Für die Ewigwachgebliebenen zum Feierabendbier, für die Frühaufsteher als Seelenfutter zum Wochenbeginn: Montagssorbet mit Laut & Luise. Alles erlaubt, was gut tut und Gedanken kreisen lässt, nur der Name ist Programm: cremig, fluffig und ganz schön weich.

Es wird mal wieder Zeit und die Zeichen stehen gut: @jonathan-lukermann hat kurz Auszeit vom globen Trotten und schickt seine Freizeit ins Sorbet-Förmchen. Seit jeher ein Meister an Pläte und Platten, wundert es nicht, dass der Montag so stabil sitzt wie des Meisters Herrenhaarschnitt im frischen Herbstwind.

For several years of time, we were trying to get hold on the mysterious, big bearded man from the seaside, but performances as Commander Love (@commander-love), a loving father and as a part of Kombinat100 (@kombinat100) kept him quite busy. Nevertheless, the connection felt right, the idea was kept alive and eventually the time came, when it could be realised. We are proud to finally present to you this piece of art, coming straight from the waterkant..

Rampue - WooMooN - Closing September 16th

This set is full of waves. Deep and heavy waves, which spin you around, but somehow manage to bring you back on your feet, as smooth and chilled as a landing feather.
For years, we were living side by side without knowing each other. Two years ago, we finally met in Freiburg, when Jan was playing one of his amazing Sets at KTS.  We experienced him as a super sympathic guy, wich is always in good moods. Always laughing, joking and open to new stuff, ideas and conversations and trying to hide his genious, he radiates his equilibrium.

Thanks Jan, for this super intense 5th Podcast. Keep on playing and stay curious.

Co-FjordFest-Founder and initiator, mostly-black-wearing, Becks-drinking, humble Lockenkopf-FjordFriend Robert recorded a set, which will kick you off the beaten path and right into 2017´s onions! 
What would be better to start the new one, than listening to a Turkish hypnotist? Go creepy with John Cage, dubicous with dorisburg or pump some lo-fi house recorded on tape? Well that’s not even half of it, but somehow Rézo connected everything in his own unique style. As an audio engineer he knows >how to make stuff sound grape< (official definition), so you better plug in your headphones or rent a PA-System, this mix is nothing for your shitty laptop speakers! 
Enough blabla now, turn up your amps, grab a beer and enjoy!
