I started focusing on electronic music in 2011 - one of the things I remember better of those years was listening to the Alesso remix of 'If I Lose Myself' by One Republic. I was dreaming of playing at the Tomorrowland while I was producing from my bedroom, hoping to become a great producer like Alesso. After 7 years, I'm proud to share with you my Future House remake of one of the most iconic song of the EDM scene, out now on Crosses music group. Spacious, irresistible and elegant. The music brought forth by upcoming Italian DJ and music producer KAWAR is fresh and unique, sending chills down the spines of those listening. 

Combining the classic sounds of his favorite styles with unexpectedly storytelling melodies gives the public a surprising twist within every track. True perfection is of his main driving forces and with the next chapter on the doorstep, you would not want to miss any of his work!

Gabriele Mirabile went from a few successful independent releases to joining in on the electronic music album collection called United. This string of compilations was composed by artists from all over the planet with the same target: raising money in support of the Sustainable Development Goals. The proceedings of the tracks would entirely end up going to worldwide charities. KAWAR has since participated in every rendition of the series. 

Fast-forward to the year 2020, where the artist sees the release of ‘If I Lose Myself’. Released with the Crosses Group, the track earned him a lot of attention from other artists. Djs From Mars, MorganJ, G-POL, Madison Mars and Vyel were amongst the supporters. Gabriele wanted to increase his social impact and did so by founding True Heroes Recordings, a charity label in support of the United albums, joining two digital charity festivals and a release on World Cancer Day 2021; ‘Here For You’ on Future House Cloud. The track was even supported by his biggest inspiration, Don Diablo, on HEXAGON Radio 282. 

Growing up in the picturesque Catania, one of the largest cities on the Italian island of Sicily, we can start to understand the inspiration behind the tracks. The talented youngster started producing when he was only twelve years old. Making music was a way through which the shy boy could express himself where words did not say enough. We can find this purity in his entire discography. The tracks are not unnecessarily busy, filled with random sounds or overly complex. No, his music has a serenity to it. Bright sounds give a one-of-a-kind spin to the future house genre that Gabriele claims his own. Stylistic choices that depict him are ambient and plucky leads with melodies that appear alive, as if they tell the listener the import story behind the music. Those aspects opened up a lot of doors for the kind-spirited artist and his dreams stretch far beyond where he is now. 

The combination of his wonderous sounds with sense of goodwill for the world make it possible for KAWAR to grow out and become of the icons of this new wave of activist artists.
