INSIDĒ THE VØRTEX SET

This mix means a lot to me. I took a lil uploading/ scrolling break from socials recently because I realised I was chasing content way too much instead of being present and actually living life. I feel we live in a world where we are losing sight of what music is about, and that is the pure passion and joy of it. 

After juggling gigs, releases, videos, and everyday life, I burned out big time. So i stepped back a bit, reconnected with myself and with nature, moved slower, and felt way more grounded. It helped me reconnect with music on my own terms, without pressure, and just mixing/practicing and learning new things without feeling the need to document everything.

So I decided today that I would like to come back and share a mix I had soooo much fun making in my living room at home. It reflects where I’m at sonically, blending hardgroove, ghetto tech, techno, psytrance and garage.  I’ve stopped trying to pigeonhole myself into one lane and instead mix whatever takes me on a journey. There are three unreleased tracks of mine in here too (out later this year) which I've listed below. Hope you enjoy 💛

WINNER OF THE BOOMTOWN 2025 COMPETITION!!!! 

Beeeeeyond delighted to have been picked as the winner of the competition and remixing the stems for the opening ceremony. I created this track by adding my own flaire and voice to the sample that was given and to add an extra bit of 'boomtown lore' I made lyrics out of the answers from this years quest :)

The answers being 'Iona' 'Ripple' 'Coming' and 'YES' so I created the lyrics 'Error, theres a ripple in the system, its coming, I feel it moving through the kingdom, Iona, it is you who holds the wisdom, its spreading I can feel it in the rhythm, YES' 

Hope you enjoy the techno/ trance melody and beat and yeh, I am ooooover the moon that I have been chosen. I will see you at next years boomtown this time from the STAGE AHHHHHHHHH
