Canadian producer and live act CRi unveils his ‘Miracles’ (Remixed) album. The package features unreleased remixes from Nicky Elisabeth, Dj Cinéma Quartier Latin and Jesse Mac Cormack, alongside reworks from Jacques Greene, Romain Garcia, Qrion, Amtrac and CRi himself.

‘Miracles’ garnered over 23M streams in the seven months since its release and was followed by a 17-date North American album tour at the end of 2023, which included a stop at Montréal’s iconic venue MTELUS. This year, CRi kicked off his second run of album tour dates with a sold-out headline show at London’s Lafayette, and will shortly be travelling to perform in countries including Hong Kong and India.

Following a recent remix of Yotto and Lost Boy’s ‘Just The Kinda Feeling’ released on Yotto’s label Odd One Out and a string of shows across the US and Canada supporting CRi on his album tour, Nicky is poised to have an even busier 2024. She begins a year full of new music and Anjunadeep label event appearances with a rework of CRi’s ‘Astray’, that is filled with lush synths, and that plays with Half Moon Run’s vocals; turning the original into an uplifting dancefloor record.

Montréal-based producer and touring act Dj Cinéma Quartier Latin also stars on the ‘Miracles’ (Remixed) album, and unveils an energetic remix of ‘Astray’ with a lively bassline that drives through a confident percussive track.

Closing the remix album is CRi’s longstanding collaborator and friend Jesse Mac Cormack who delivers an energetic and up-tempo rework of ‘Memories’, featuring Sophia Bel, adding in commanding drums and shifting synths. Previously, Jesse has produced for numerous artists including Helena Deland, Rosie Valland, Phillipe Brach, Sara-Danielle and Lonny, and also boasts two solo albums ‘Now’ and ‘SOLO’. Always an energetic presence at CRi’s special live shows, Jesse is set to embark on his own mini tour around Quebec in March 2024.

CRi’s ‘Miracles’ (Remixed) is out February 27 on Anjunadeep.

Darren Tate announces new album ‘Metamorphosis’ with progressive single ‘Flashing Lights’, a collaboration with songwriter and vocalist Sxcha.

Darren Tate has been a pivotal artist in dance music for over twenty years. In 2022, the UK Top 10 charting producer joined forces with Above & Beyond’s Jono Grant to form JODA. Released on Anjunabeats, their self-titled debut album has since seen over 10 million combined streams.

Under the aliases DT8 Project, Angelic with Judge Jules, Jurgen Vries, Orion and Citizen Caned, Darren has amassed twelve Top 40 UK singles across his accomplished career. He is also the owner of Mondo Records UK and a successful composer; in 2022, he scored the soundtrack for the IMAX feature film ‘The Last Glaciers’ with Above & Beyond.

Darren got off to a flying start this year by joining forces with trance titan Solarstone and established vocalist Julie Scott on ‘A Long Way From Home’, a single that earned support from Nicole Moudaber, ANNA, Joris Voorn, Hernán Cattáneo, Carl Craig, Nora En Pure and more. He followed that up with ‘Adrift’, which saw spins from the likes of Ben Malone, Ferry Corsten, Don Diablo, Ruben De Ronde, and The Thrillseekers.

‘Flashing Lights’ is the latest single from Darren Tate’s new solo album on Anjunabeats, ‘Metamorphosis’, out 17th May. Driven by a melodic groove and enchanting vocals, the track is accompanied by a slew of social media activations and videos showcasing Darren’s new live performance.

The new single sees Darren collaborate with eclectic songwriter and vocalist Sxcha, who has toplined tracks across a broad spectrum of genres including house, techno, drum & bass, trap, indie and beyond.

German producer Alex Breitling makes an emphatic return to Purified Records with his two-track ‘Cold Strings’ EP. Floating across a cinematic soundscape, the title track features undulating patterns and soaring strings, completed by touching vocals and striking synths. Diving into ‘Dreamcatcher’, Alex devises a vast arrangement with gentle instrumentation, airy vocals and rhythmic percussion.The ‘Cold Strings’ artwork features a graceful image of a manta ray captured by Daniel Nicholson. Manta rays are among the largest species of rays, with wingspans reaching up to 29 feet (8.8 meters). These creatures are filter feeders, primarily consuming plankton and small fish by swimming with their mouths open, and are also known for their distinctive cephalic fins, which resemble horns and are used to funnel food into their mouths while swimming. Manta rays are found in tropical and subtropical waters worldwide, often congregating around cleaning stations where small fish remove parasites from their bodies. Despite their impressive size, manta rays are gentle giants and pose no significant threat to humans, with encounters often characterized by curiosity and awe.
