As rap takes new forms with its various players and influencers, it's important to pay dues to those who've paved the way. The Rugged Man, Vinnie Paz, Apathy, Celph Titled, Locksmith, Nino Bless, Coast, amongst others, with production credits from the likes of DJ Premier, The Snowgoons, Brooklyn's 5th Seal, and more. Fans of Wu Tang Clan's Enter The Wu Tang (36 Chambers) will appreciate the well-placed opening samples which are akin to The RZA's method of production. Revolutionary Vol. 2 attacks the United States government, especially the Bush Administration. Immortal Technique claimed in an interview to have sold more than 85,000 copies. The album features Mumia Abu-Jamal, who introduces the album and also provides a speech about hip hop's relationship to Homeland security. Issues repeatedly discussed on the album include poverty, drug trade, slave labor, censorship, the September 11th World Trade Center attacks, Illuminati, media bias, and class struggle.
