Same idea as the previous Rocksmith recording, just in a different scale, and this time something I was a little more familiar with. Quite like this one, so thought I'd add it. I can probably pick out a bazillion things I don't like about it, BUT HEY, given the circumstances... who cares. xD

RS2014 #006 [I]

This is something of my own that I've been working on for a very long time, adding and removing bits here and there over the last couple of years. I'm getting closer and closer to coming up with an ACTUAL track to remember it by. Now armed with some halfway decent recording gear, I'm detertmined to get my guitar stuff out there eventually.

Random(ish) Guitar Bit... again

I guess I'm essentially working on how I record things, and also this sorta scale, or scales. I feel like I'm getting quite a lot better. I also enjoy how it sounds, so it's nice to play. I've noticed I'm getting a lot faster, but playing alongside myself is definitely encouraging a smoother pace.

The lead part was done in two recordings, the quieter bit then the louder part. (had to sort the volume) No magical editing to make me sound faster, same goes with the others. xD

When it went happy, I feel as though I got pretty lucky... it sounds weird, but I like it. It was all mostly improvised with some stuff slurpy licks I've been working on.

I will likely remaster or all-out revise this sometimes in the future, but for now I'm quite pleased with the outcome of this unusually creepy track. Lately, I seem to have quite the taste for the unusual!

This will be my first proper edition of vocals and I'm quite nervous. I hope it turns out OK for you lot. I personally can't find myself satisfied with it, but it's nice enough to listen to. Hopefully you guys can listen to it without the constant scrutiny I feel against me! xD
