Ansome is a name that is associated with absolute quality and modular mastery in the world of techno. Void+1 is proud of the opportunity to present his latest works in the form of "Knucklehead" EP, that enriches the scene with tracks which are equally as intriguing as they are powerful. Aside from the 2 colossal solo-tracks, this EP includes 2 collaborations with Scalameriya. There was a legend that the universe will cease to exist if these 2 ever joined forces. The legend has proven to be a fact, but luckily Void+1 Industries had fail-safe mechanisms in place to prevent this event from happening. Everything seems to be fine, just ignore that little tear in the sky, it is only a side-effect and will go away on its own... (probably).

Chicago wanted something fresh and energetic. The label has since become one of the most reputable underground techno labels out of Chicago. IM can be heard across the world and has become a favorite by many. It is evident that there was a following for techno in Chicago and the states. Fast-forwarding now into the future, the label Impact Mechanics still stands strong. With that being said. We have put together a compilation of some of our favorites on the label. On The World of Monnom Black II, new artists including VTSS, DIMI (AnD), Vladimir Dubyshkin, Hadone, Fractions, LDS, Aahan and Buried Secrets all throw down tracks which fuse tight machine rhythms with intricate detail. There's also a return for many established label favourites such as UVB, Dax J, Zanias and Thomas P. Heckmann as Knarz.

To round out the compilation there’s a re-release of the timeless 1998 cut, “Devious Methods,” from legendary artist Hive, and Tellurian’s hardcore classic, “Big Bad City,” gets a new mix from Dax J.

This release further confirms Monnom Black’s reputation for representing raw analogue music and cements the label’s place as the home of some of the roughest and classiest contemporary sounds in techno.
