Impakt, real name Bongani Molapi, is a rapper from Soweto, Naledi Ext (Startown). Started blessing mics in 2007. Soon fell in love with the idea of hip hop through rhythm and Poetry. I moved to Tshwane in 2008 and met Thapelo Khupari & Ino Kolisang.
A Huge Impakt Fam was established in 2009 and we started doing rounds in Tembisa, Vaal and Tshwane and had the opportunity to share stages with Legendary acts locally. https://soundcloud.com/ahugeimpakt/lazy-dayz appeared on the Mixtape of biggest hip hop magazine in the continent, Hype Magazine. Impakt Recently Dropped a Mixtape titled ‘Gado Manyambula, Supported by #HiphopFriday (@Nyambo & MrCarlito). it released on the 30th of April 2018 in anticipation of the BTTC Mixtape Challenge.
