I challenged myself to make a song with only two audio samples - a techno drum loop and a synth loop. The rest is all the magic of editing and manipulation.

Lyrics based on a really strange and awful dream that took place simultaneously on the banks of the Colorado River in the desert north of Lake Havasu and an non-specific part of LA filled with strip clubs, homeless people, and churches.

I was being guided through the desert by an old man with a weathered face, wearing a mechanic's shirt with the name "Jose" on a patch over the front pocket. It was noon.

Three children we playing with a ball under a metal-truss railroad bridge. They were arrested by men in police uniforms and taken to a prison in Los Angeles.

One of them was hung in the street where a church faced a strip club. And when the rope caught, bread fell from the boy's pockets and the other two ran to grab it and eat it. 

Three priests rolled up in expensive cars and got out to observe the scene. The pointed, smiled, laughed. 

The sun turned black, though it still somehow radiated light and heat. It somehow felt hotter. A giant black snake appeared to wrap itself around the sun and blot out the light. 

The priests were still laughing.
