Entry into the Spitfire Audio "SPARK - Alev Lenz Library Competition."

Music creators are asked to feature the Spitfire Audio Alev Lenz 3 library in a musical creation. 

When I saw the competition, I knew I had to get in on it. Less than an hour after receiving the email, I had this entry done.

"Chapadmalal originariamente fue un territorio habitado por pampas y tehuelches, pueblos indígenas atraídos por la riqueza natural y el hermoso paisaje marítimo. Fueron los primeros en asentarse en este lugar de la mano del cacique Yampilco. Chapadmalal tiene una extensión de 650 hectáreas en el partido de general Pueyrredón y la unidad se ubica en el kilómetro 34,5 de la ruta provincial interbalnearia"

Esta grabación fue realizada un 5  de noviembre a las 15:34:40 en el Arroyo Chapadmalal (Río Chapadmalal) el cual cuenta con una gran variedad de especies dentro de un ecosistema costero el cuál compone de una serie de tipos operativos que permiten realizar un análisis pormenorizado y completo del mismo. 

Entre ellos pueden mencionarse playas, arroyos, médanos, marismas, humedales y aguas costeras. Las playas se definen como formaciones sedimentarias sujetas a una dinámica muy reactiva que se encuentran condicionadas por la presencia humana e infraestructuras turísticas (Barragán y Chica, 2013). Son particularmente importantes para la protección contra tormentas, control de la erosión, turismo y recreación, captación y purificación del agua, mantenimiento de la biodiversidad y provisión de materias primas, entre otras. Las principales presiones o impulsores de cambio sobre el ecosistema playa se derivan de impactos del cambio climático (aumento del nivel del mar, incremento de precipitaciones y evaporación, intensidad y frecuencia de tormentas), del incremento de construcciones como defensas o infraestructura turística y de la contaminación por desechos (residuos sólidos, aguas residuales), entre otros (Marshall et al., 2014).
