UGGGGUGUGUGGUGUGUGGGG IM REALLY PROUD OF THIS ONE!!!!!!! i really like how different it is to my other songs and just like the whole vibe of it really,, if you coudn't tell i was like really inspired by candle queen and i think it  h e l l a  shows,, the character's outfit was stolen (colors were reworked to fit the setting better) from my friend william bc he dresses like a legit time traveler literally every day and i wanted to put the character in one of his fits,, i was totally buggin for a few days bc i couldn't work on this song bc of an issue that crypton had with their new piapro studio updates,, for anyone who reads this who isn't following me on twitter and insta, basically piapro studio (a vsti plugin vocaloid editor distributed by crypton future media) had their first update in LITERALLY YEARS and upon updating it, people lost access to their third-party vocalists (vocaloids that aren't distributed by crypton),, so everyone was majorly upset as they should've been bc crypton royally messed up,, luckily they put out a rollback method but like??? y'all really messed up here????????? but yeah i hope you like this song, mixing was a pain bc i had to redo it after i found a big mistake in the vocals so i had to go back into piapro, fix it, and then export and mix the vocals all over again :/ yeah that wasn't fun,, BUT IT WAS WORTH IT i think,, omg also my producer anniversary in next month :DDDDD i'm gonna start working on something fun for it after i upload this,, but yeah uhh that's about all i have to say i think so uhhhhhh yeah enjoy the song :)

UGGUGUGUGGG OKAY ITS DONE THANK GOD,, this was technically due yesterday but i was given so much work this week it was most definitely impossible to get this done on time so thank god i got an extension till monday,, the song and video took longer to  make than i'd have liked, but i guess it was pretty ambitious to try and finish this entire video in two days,, but uhh i'm really proud of this song,, we had to make a presentation about our identities for this project and i decided to make every aspect of my identity visual and let the lyrics focus on my cultural and racial imposter syndrome which has been playing a really big part in my life right now,, here's a little breakdown of the aspects of my identity shown in the video: at the climax of the song, the dress i'm wearing is heavily influenced by mexican culture,, it's made up of all the colors of the non binary flag,, the sun on my cheek is the sun on the flag of the philippines and the patch over my eye is the lgbt flag,, on my shoulders are more specific flags (the mlm flag and gendervoid flag) of the identities i identify with,, and lastly on in my hair is an asian giant hornet (my favorite insect) because i want to be an entomologist :) i have no specific tie to sewing,, i just thought of the idea of a quilt being made up of different parts of someone's identity and decided to go with that,, but uhh yeah enjoy the song and if i don't get a good grade i'm gonna go ballistic because this took so much longer than i would've liked ❤️
